This number is not one hundred percent accurate due to the fact that there are many unregistered domestic workers with in the United States. These numbers are made up by both people that are legal to work as well as illegal immigrants that have come to the states seeking a new life. Many of these nannies do not live what many would call the “Mary Poppin’s way” when it comes to being a nanny. Many of them are mistreated and taken advantage of.
