"Renewable energy is energy that is generated from natural processes that are continuously replenished"(LLC,2014). Natural resources such as sunlight, rain, tides, ocean, wind, heat, biomass, geothermal, fossil- are naturally replenished. There are many natural energy resources which are limited in supply such as natural gas, oil, coal. But these sources only can fulfil our demands for next fifty to sixty years. As alternative to these energy there is renewable energy. It is very important nowadays as it brings a positive environmental impact, development in the economy, energy security for a bright future. These are some types of sustainable energy already mentioned. This essay is going to focusing on solar panel and will also discuss the cost, the use of facilities, energy storage and also the negative effects of using solar panel such as weather problem, it controlled by geography, need more space, sunlight is weak energy.
Solar panel is one of the most important renewable energy. There are some positive sides of using solar panel. First of all solar panel has inexhaustible production of energy. From sun the earth gets infinite supply of solar energy. It gives an incredible source of energy within 1 minute to produce 1 year energy for the world. "In one day it provides more energy than our current population would consume in 27 years" (DMCA,2005). The solar panel does not pollute the environment. It is clean and friendly renewable source of energy. As the system can fix into existing buildings so it does not affect land use. Solar panel is greatly reduce contributing to global warming. Human activity is overloading worlds atmosphere with global warming, which creates heats, drive up the worlds temperature. It comes from photovoltaic effect which creates energy, as it does not pollute environment, gives health and safety benefits and is influencing people worldwide. Solar energy originates from thermonuclear fusion reactions occurring in the sun. It is cheap comparing other renewable energy. It needs less equipment, does not need some expensive natural resources like coal, oil, gas.
There are also some demerits of using solar panel. It can impact on developing countries. With technology to harness solar energy still remain prohibitively expensive for some regions. The cost of hybrid solar panel is extremely high. It is more cost effective and practical for self reliant societies. It is controlled by geography as sunlight can get only daytime and non cloudy days and clouds, nightfall interrupt the production of solar energy. For example, when winter hovers over New Zealand, it may seem that day after day is cloudy and grey - especially in some parts of New Zealand. On such days it is difficult to imagine that solar energy. Solar panels need more space, it needs more materials to required. Though the system can fix into buildings but sometimes some plants hybrid needs more space. The area of collection is large. In comparison with fossil, fuels sunlight is weak energy. It does not always provide the level of power need to fulfil energy of a business or area.
In conclusion, it has some negative effects the demands of solar energy will continue to increase day by day. The use of solar energy and the importance to industrially is increasing as fossil fuels has become problematic to use. The affordable price of solar panels is a new era of international growth. However, solar panels may be constructed of the national energy grid which is beneficial for small self-reliant societies, they do not require monthly or other charges.

Energy – Solar panels are a great sustainable construction technique. If they are placed in the right areas and face at the right angle these solar panels can harness a lot of energy from the sun. This energy can then be used to heat water, power lights or any other form of appliance which needs electricity. There is an initial cost to purchase and install the solar panels which can be steep but over time with the electricity you save from using them you will make your money back and more. For a business to be seen using sustainable construction techniques like the use of solar panels it will give them a good public image and people will be more inclined to use them for their service.…

A deadly civil war has been raging for two years in Syria between the government and the rebels. Consequently, on 21st August, Damascus was struck by rockets containing chemical materials. Within hours thousands of innocent people were left profoundly distressed at the barbaric aftermath caused by these sudden attacks. 1,429 people were killed including 426 children and the manner of their deaths was unspeakably grim. The Syrian government were accused of conducting these attacks but denied allegations even though evidence clearly shows they were complicit in this deeply inhumane massacre of their own people. Should we just stand passively and allow more chemical callous carnage or should we take military action with the strong possibility that if we do so this could lead to more deaths than we imagined despite the honourable motive involved.’…

However, the disadvantages of solar energy were neglected in the early phase of development. It isn’t always as reliable as other forms of power and tends to be expensive to install and maintain, because the devices rely on a steady supply of sunlight to generate power. The equipment is not that efficient, typically converting just 10% to 18% of the sun’s energy into electricity [3]. On top of the price of panels themselves, the cost of installing them varies greatly by location and climate. By most estimates, it takes at least six years for the initial costs to be repaid in saving from power generation under the best circumstances, and double that time under less ideal conditions [3]. Besides, the batteries and safety serve as potential problems. Since it is impossible to generate solar power 24 hours a day, batteries are needed for most systems to store excess power for use at night and rainy days. Unfortunately, these batteries can be expensive and have a shorter lifespan than solar…

In our society, image is everything. We strive for what is considered to be the “ideal appearance”. For the modern generation, fashion is uppermost. For some girls our ambition is to become “size zero”. We want or need to show we are following the latest fashion trends. However, recent news reports indicate that size zero models are obsessed with their size that they become anorexic. Being fascinated by the fashion industry myself, it is important to explore the question: “Why should or should not size zero models be allowed to walk on the catwalk?”…

Despite what any individual’s concerns are regarding energy, it has been generally accepted that the finite source generating the majority of our electricity is depleting at alarming rates. We need to find alternative sources for energy production. The most obvious and abundant source available is the sun. Advances in technology have enabled us to harvest the solar radiation which has been conducting the cycle of life for millions of years. There are two main categories when it comes to solar power, passive and active. The passive solar systems integrate the sun’s energy to heat living spaces and/or water in a building. These system are very simple consisting few moving parts, require negligible maintenance and no mechanical components (Passive Solar Design). Passive…

Solar energy is one of the most widely used energy resources throughout the world solar energy is the most promising renewable energy resources. It is widely available and easy for any one to use it is practical for individual use to power a single home or for a company facility such as bright sources solar facility in the Mojave Desert California. The facility can produce up to 377 megawatt. It uses three towers with mirrors surrounded by solar panels to reflect the light on to the solar panels to harness the suns energy. The benefits of solar much more out weigh the negatives solar can save billions of trillions of dollars for nations. The reliability of solar energy is great rising and setting of the sun is consistent while cloudy days are less predictable there are more than enough sunny days to power homes. “She…

SolarWorld’s practice, active solar technology, occupies just 1% of the total renewable energy due to its high cost and capital investment.
