The many sports in which college athletes participate in include swimming, football, rugby, hockey, basketball, tennis, or soccer. Many colleges employ professional coaches to train their athletes in different fields of sports. practice time for many colleges is usually conducted after classes because this is when most students are free or rather have time to engage in various outside curriculum activities. College athletes participate in inter-school competitions of the same college and also compete with other colleges in various leagues in the state. Most of them are usually talented with more strength and gas compared to their older competitors in the same field. If their talents are above and beyond, they are the ones who become the best in various sports countrywide and also represent their country to the best of their ability in terms of talent. This sacrifice sometimes goes to an extent of making them to miss out or rather forget important dates concerning their families and friends. When important games clash with important family or friends’ occasion, they are most likely going to end up choosing the game over their families and friends. This is because they are usually loyal to their team and would do anything to participate in the games. They also take a lot of risk in participating in whatever sport they are in. Such risk includes being hit by a ball accidentally on a delicate part of the body or even drowning while swimming. In short there is no sport which is safe, yet they sacrifice to participate in them. They work really hard with a strong determination to succeed. The least that that the college administration can do is to pay them. They will therefore know that their efforts will be rewarded at the end of the hard work which in real sense never
