In most high schools, the majority of the students own a cell phone. Whatever the rules are at their school about cell phones, students use them. Sometimes they are caught by their teachers, but most of the time, students get away with it. Having a cell phone at school comes with many advantages, but there are also negative things that come of it.
Students can turn their phone off, or turn it on vibrate or silence during their classes so that it does not ring and causes a disruption while they are learning. They are able to silence their phones, but most students will forget to this at least once during their high school career. When they do forget and they receive a call or text message, the whole class stops. Even if students put their phone in vibrate mode, some cell phones can still be heard. Everyone turns to look at what is causing the sudden noise and the teacher stops talking. This distracts students from their lesson and makes them have to re-focus all over again.
Using cell phones during class is very common. It doesn't matter to students that they are not allowed to use their cell phones while they are in class, they do it anyway. They often send text messages to each other and this can also distract them from their education, as well as distract the person they are texting, which is likely to be another student. Many people call this the new way of passing notes.
Students who have their cell phone in class can use it to cheat. They can text another person and ask them the questions on the test, or the assignment they are given. This causes a problem because it can be very simple to do. Teachers pay attention to their students, but they cannot watch all of them at the same time. During a test it is more easier to catch a student who is text messages, but during regular class it can be easy to miss. Cell phones enable students to cheat fairly easily.
Some believe that when students use their cell phones at school, it makes rumors spread faster. Everyone has access to a cell phone and when somebody hears a rumor, they send a text message to their friend to tell them about it, and their friend sends a text message to another friend, and so on. Some also think that the fast spreading of rumors makes it more likely that the rumors will worsen as it is being spread, and that the quicker it spreads, the worse it gets. When a rumor does start, the use of cell phone increases as each person receives the news, and the overuse of cell phones can cause cell phone network to overload which means that someone who is in an emergency would not be able to reach the people who could provide them help.
The main problem that people have with students being able to use their cell phones during school hours is that students can use them to cheat. If it were not for that, most people would not have an issue, but since students are able to do this, it has become a problem. The problem is that high schools allow students to have cell phones, whether or not they are allowed to use them during school hours, and most students will use them whether or not they are allowed to.

Children should not be allowed to bring mobile phones to school.

With the increasing number and various new models of mobile phones being sell in the markets, they are among one of the greatest technologies achievement ever being made by humans. Mobile phones are sometimes can affect people’s mind and behaviour especially to our young childrens which lead to bad effects. Eventhough mobile phones are important to most peoples nowdays from professional workers to modern farmers in order to communicate with one another, what are the effects of mobile phones usage among the school childrens? Here, there are several arguments being disscussed in this essay.

Firstly, mobile phones can affect the learning process in the classroom while the teachers are teaching in front. Childrens tend to get distract with all the entertainment applications inside their mobile phones such as music players, movies, games and sms, short for short messaging system. For example, while the teacher is explaining something important regarding to the class subject, students at the back are keep busying themselves with watching or listening to music songs in their mobile phones. When the teacher ask them a question, the students become quiet and ignore the teacher’s question because what is still playing inside their mind is the music. This is truly a waste of time of learning process in school and eventually the students will fail in their examination if they are not focused in class.

Secondly, students will become lazy to participate either in class activities or outside class activitites as they keep on bringing the mobile phones in school. As other students busy with participating in the school activities, these students who own mobile phones will prevent themselves from joining activities with the rest because of busying with messaging their friends in the phone. When they are still keep on messaging, they will never stop until one of them is stop as one is...

Students Should Not Be Allowed to Bring Mobile Phones to School
In recent times, the number of people owning mobile phones has increased dramatically. Now mobile phones are not just for calling, but you can now text, take and send pictures, record videos, access the internet, play games and much more. The variety of functions has increased dramatically. They have also become a lot cheaper. Thus more and more young people now own a mobile. So should they be allowed to bring them to school?
Mobile phones can cause a distraction in education. They can disturb teachers and students. For example, if you were working hard on a piece of work, concentrating hard, and a person's phone rings, it disrupts the whole class. You may become side-tracked or the teacher may be interrupted during speaking to the class. Thus teaching would be constantly disrupted if this kept happening. Thus education standards would deteriorate. Looking then at long term effects, if this was happening every day, you would be wasting five minutes a day, so nearly half an hour a week, and

so that would be over ten hours a year of disruption. Also, mobile phones provide a large temptation to cheat in tests. They can communicate to almost anywhere and anyone in the world. Because they are small, students can quietly and discreetly send a text and it can go unnoticed. You got to school to learn, not to waste time playing games or cheating in tests.
Research has proven that frequent use of a mobile phone can put the owner at risk of long term health damage. Mobile phones have radiation in them which they send out which can destroy or damage cells. Thus a student who uses a mobile phone regularly is at risk of health damage. With the increase in ownership of mobiles, there is increased usage and so the students are putting themselves at risk more and more of health damage.
Also younger students may not be properly educated on phone usage. Most phones nowadays have internet access on them. Students... [continues]
