Big Five Personality Traits
There are perhaps hundreds of personality traits that exist which have been documented by Psychologists however there are a few that are very prominent in different types of people. According to well known Psychologist's, Costa & McCrae, have come up with the big five personality traits which determines how strong a person is based on these five traits. These personality traits are: openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism. The first trait is known as openness to experience which goes to show how open or narrow minded a person is toward experiences. Those who tend to be more open are more interested in science, art, and are very curious. Those who are open are a lot more easy going with ideas, adventure, and risk taking. People who tend to express …show more content…
They tend to stay focused and very rarely break the roles. Those who have a lower sense of conscientiousness typically portray qualities such as organization and fall victim to impulsiveness.
Number three on the scale of the big five personality traits is extroversion. Extroversion and introversion is based off of how the brain restores energy not how outgoing a person is. Extroverts re-energize by going out and socializing while introverts after a social event typically end up taking a day or two to rejuvenate. This trait implies the importance of how much socializing one needs to have a happy and healthy life style.
Agreeableness is a trait that has two extremes. Those that are agreeable want everyone to get along and often go out of their way and make sacrifices for people. People who are on the low side of the agreeableness trait are often argumentative, uncooperative, and prone to severe suspiciousness. They focus on themselves more than others and generally do not get along with others very

    “The Big Five” are personality traits that are seen in middle-aged men and women in how he or she acts during this change. First, the neuroticism individuals who are high on this trait are those who are worrying, temperamental, self-pitying, self-conscious, emotional and vulnerable. Those who are low on this trait are calm, even-tempered, self-content, comfortable, unemotional, and hardy.
