Being In Trouble In High School
Being in trouble by the principal can have an everlasting effect on how you feel about your elementary school years. I never imagined myself getting in trouble by the principal because I was an excellent student and my mom taught at the school I went to. My mom being a teacher at the same school I attended did not give me any room to get into trouble. I was a representation of her. Getting in trouble was not an option in my household. This particular year I got into trouble put a nasty feeling in my heart. I just wanted to walk out of school and never return.
As we began walking through the hallway, I could tell she was ticked off. She was so angry that you could hear her shoes pounding on the carpet. I followed her down the hallway making sure I kept a little distance between us in fear of being yelled at. The principal’s shoes continued to pound the carpet harder and harder. My heart pounded with each step she made down the hall. We were almost to my classroom when I looked to the right and saw my mother with her class. My mom looked over and knew that something was wrong. I could not look at her for I had tears in my

I rushed to my seat with tears still pouring from my eyes and grabbed my lunch pail. I followed her back down the hallway with hopes that my mom and her class were gone, in fear of further embarrassment. My heart gleamed with joy as my mother and her class was nowhere to be found. Somehow, the principal looked even angrier. As if she wanted my mom to still be there so she could scold her about teaching me to be more responsible. Time felt like it began to slow down and each step I took became heavier than the last. Still, I reluctantly continued to follow the principal back to the office. I had to eat much lunch in the office as a punishment. To make matters worse, I was not allowed to eat the fun snacks my mom packed in my lunch per the

My mom never screamed at me before and when she screamed he blamed me for letting him go outside without his permission. One sunny day, we were remodeling the living room so it can be more babyproof now that my brother was taller and could walk and run perfectly. We left the door open because it was too cold in the living room. We were moving the couch as we told Andres to move over so we don’t locate the couch on his feet. We were so busy moving the furniture that we totally forgot the baby of the family was walking towards the door. When we put the couch in our desired spot, we noticed Andres walking toward the street. We ran after him as quickly as we could as we saw a car moving in Andres’s direction. My dad sprinted like a track and field athlete towards his baby and caught him right in time. All of a sudden, my mom turned to me and blamed me for this incident. I felt like my side of the story wasn’t considered when I explained she told me to help her with the couch and it was really Andres’s fault. She couldn’t believe I was blaming a baby so she sent me to my room. I ran to my room crying, feeling as if Andres was the favorite child and I wished that I never had a…

My mom leaned down and kissed my cheek, she told me to have a good day and reassured me we would get ice cream together after school. As my mom started to walk away my tantrum began. I could not fathom being away from my mom for an entire day! Tears began stinging my eyes as my mom’s figure faded into the distance. My classmates’ figures began to blur as tears spewed down my face and into my open, screaming mouth. The taste of salt from my tears only fueled the fire that began burning inside of me and intensified my…

Mrs. Snyder passed tests out and flipped mine over when she placed it on my desk. I flip over and read the paper. It says “PARENT CONFERENCE MONDAY NIGHT AT 7:00 PM.” I looked at the grade and my heart dropped, it was a F. I hear the bell ring and I was so mad at myself I just put my test away and stomped out of the room. That night, I heard my parent’s car pull in after school. “I have to show them, I have to.” As they walk through the door, I hand my test to them and explained what happened. I felt my heart drop and felt total regret for what I did. “I’m taking your electronics away!” my mom yelled, “Go to your room. Think about your imprudent decisions!” The whole house was quiet that night. It was Monday morning, school is back already. In 1st period, Mrs. Snyder announces that there will be a new unit test next monday and there will be a study guide passed around today. Mrs Snyder comes next to my desk. “Here is a chance to redeem yourself. Don’t forget about the meeting tonight.” That night, my parents drove to the meeting. That was the worst 45 minutes of my life. They came out furious and had faces of disappointment. To my luck, there was no lecture…

She told me to follow her to the office. We arrived to the office and she told me to have a seat. I saw her head to her desk and started dialing the phone to call someone. What killed me was because she called my mother and, she told my mother that she was writing expulsion papers. I had never been in trouble before so I was kind of nervous. I was afraid to see what my mom said about it. Long story short I got expelled in sixth grade behind the wrong crowd doing the wrong things. I already knew that wasn’t the path that I wanted to take so I had to change my plan up. I decided to go stay in New York with my cousin for a while. I went to New York and to be honest I enjoyed it.…

While I was waiting, I looked around, and from the window, the sky became darker and darker as the cloud covered the last sunlight. I couldn’t breathe. In about twenty minutes, most parents were there. Then the head teacher started to talk about how seriously we did. She told in front of all these people: “she was the one who cheated teachers and brought her friends out of school. We teachers are responsible for your children’s safety in the school. But who is responsible for that once they are out? Jasmine, can you?” I was shocked. I did not think about that the teacher would blame me for all of this. Everyone in the office was staring at me, and my parents as well. I was ashamed, so ashamed that I wanted to hide, and I can’t stop my tears out. The teacher continued and talked to all of students: “I believed you because you are fifth grade. I thought you are old enough to distinguish right or wrong. But now, I am really disappointed at you guys.” We were still in elementary school, and we were so young to comfort ourselves in this situation. Most of the girls in our group began to sob like me.…

She did get in trouble, but it never changed anything. Seventh grade was an okay year. Not much drama was in my life, so I was happy. Eighth grade was probably the worst year yet. I Went to school for about 4 months, I then transferred to a different school. It was 25 minutes away from my old school. When I first moved there I didn’t know anybody. The principal showed me around and told me where my classes might be. It was tough the first couple weeks because like I said, I had just moved to a whole new school, with whole new…

It had been a crazy morning as I ran all over my house trying to find my jacket and boots. My mom had been admitted into the hospital that morning for a massive headache and all I could think about was whether or not she would be okay. I took her to the emergency room that day before so going to class was the last thing on my mind. My father and sister had agreed to stay with her till I ended class so I was more at ease knowing she wouldn’t be alone. After running all over my house looking for my things I quickly gathered myself to make my train. I finally got to Penn Station with four minutes to spare. I quickly walked to where the rest of my class was as we waited for instructions to where we would…

It started out like any other day. I got out of bed and scrambled to get out the door after I took an extra hour in the shower. I hopped into a seat next to my best friend Erin. We talked for the ten minute ride before finally arriving at school. I sat down in homeroom waiting for the bell to ring. Brrriinnngggg! I rushed to Mrs. Gregory’s room for Lit. Everything was fine until gym class. I had forgotten my assignment notebook in Mrs. Saphir’s room so I ran back upstairs to get it from under my chair. As I started to walk back towards the locker room I heard the bell ring… late! I closed my eyes and as I opened them I was looking straight at my mother. That instant our eyes were locked I never wanted the lock to break. Once again, I was placed in Mrs.Metcalfe who teaches second grade at Bens Branch Elementary. Mrs.Metcalfe took attendance while the students waited patiently on the carpet. After she took attendance, she addressed that she had taken some privileges away from the students because the students did not picked up their mess after having centers and would not follow instructions that the teacher gave. She explained that centers might return for the upcoming school year if they behaved properly. After she addressed the issues of the students, she instructed everyone to go back to their desks and waited till they put their thumbs which meant that they were ready for the lesson of the day. Mrs.Metcalfe went up to the front of the class to use the projector and expected her students to follow what she was doing on their worksheets.…
