250 Word Essay
There are some teachers who are going to require you to write a 250 word essay. Actually, it is a very short essay for that matter but for some students, it may also be a burden to have a word limit in writing. Let us take a look at the scenarios that you need to understand to compose a well developed essay.

For some students, it may be limiting to have a word factor quota in writing an article. There are some individuals who can tell more out of a topic and that having 250 words will not suffice to tell everything in their minds. That is why you need to have the skills in budgeting the words that you have to write without sacrificing the ideas that you have to deliver. There are different essay types that you also need to consider so having a word limit cannot simply be an easy task.

Still for some students, a 250 word essay may mean too much because there are also some people who do not want to waste their time writing. No matter what the essay structure may be, these types of people are not really eager to translate their thoughts to written form so they think 250 words simply equates to too much work. Anyway, you need to understand that having this kind of limit will eventually benefit the students as they improve their discipline, being responsible and being resourceful individuals.

In high school, students would try to impress their teacher with unnecessary complex words and sentences, which could sometimes take away the message that they were trying to convey. Our mentality was that the bigger and the more complex the words are, the better. It was not so when I got to WRI 1050. I soon learned that using big words and complex sentences meant nothing if the essay lacked a strong content.…

“…A person is either with this court or he must be counted against it, there be no road between.” This is basic thinking for genocide and the way genocide works. If you are against the group in power then you are as good as dead to them. In the crucible this is exactly what happens, the court inflicts fear upon the people and tells them they are either with or against the court. This was in certain ways a form of genocide and many acts of genocide have occurred. In Cambodia major genocide occurred in 1975 and was very similar to that of the crucible which is why these forms of hysteria connect without a doubt.…

I agree with Nunnally because if teachers provide students an format on how they want the essay to be written, students will be focusing more on trying to brainstorm about three ideas than the actual essay itself. As some teachers suggest, it’s not about how lengthy the essay is, it’s about the quality of the paper. So there’s no point in putting a number to how many paragraphs should be in an essay since students are being restrained from what they want to put into their essay. Anyone can make an essay longer by adding in unnecessary information, however a deserving grade is given to students who write their paper thoroughly and thoughtfully than thinking about if it’s too short. As I was saying, demanding students to formulate their essays in the FPT is regulating their writing because at times you may have a lot to say about one topic and not as much for another given topic. We all have certain topics that we have more knowledge about and other ones where we may not know as much about. Teachers expect FPT essay, which puts students in pressure and may not perform their best. All in all, writers should write how they want to without feeling like it’s too much or too less for teachers. Teachers should be teaching students what they will need in the future. Just because the FPT has been taught for untold years is…

To start off with, the overall environment of being part of an AP/IB English class all throughout high school has made a positive affect on me. This has not only affected my familiarization with college level essays but I know what is expected from a higher level english course. As I have mentioned in my previous essay, I have written papers that were up to seventeen pages long. When I was in high school I often thought, why do I have to write so much, it would annoy me that every month was a new essay, now the idea of writing a lengthy paper has…

Within these five paragraphs, you had to have five to seven sentences or your paper was not using the “proper writing technique.” That is what good, effective writing was in elementary school. Now for middle school it was pretty similar but had a few tweaks made to it. We still had to write five paragraph papers, but the paragraphs went into much more detail compared to elementary school writing classes and you were able to use as many sentences you needed to get your point across. For high school, I don’t know about other schools but in my school we started to write multiple pages for a writing piece. There was a minimum and maximum amount of pages you were allowed to write and if you were over or under, you had a few points deducted. Now, being in college, I have learned that it is not about the amount of sentences, paragraphs or pages, it is about what it is you are writing about and how you present it. You don’t need three to five pages to make a good point. All you need is the knowledge of what it is you are writing about and the passion for…

Words are powerless when looked at individually but they have the potential for good or evil, when someone who can properly use them to his or her advantage. That is what Nathaniel Hawthorne quote means, and I fully agree with him. An example of words being used for evil could be a dictator trying to convince his people that he is best for the country. An example of words being used for good could be a civil rights activist trying to persuade people to get along and to treat everyone with respect no matter what race they re Though words can also be used for evil by anybody just by using profanity. Those words can make someone furious and the person succeeded in insulting them. The same goes for words used for good, anyone can give a compliment and can make someone happy.…
