Is Smoking Bad
Hello I’m ..... and I’m here today to talk about smoking.
What is smoking?
According to Wikipedia, Smoking is a practice in which a substance, most commonly tobacco, is burned and the smoke is tasted or inhaled.
But for me, smoking is a bad habit which can badly harm your life and your family’s life. So do you and your family want to die because of smoking?
Smoking is responsible for several diseases, such as cancer, long-term (chronic) respiratory diseases, and heart diseases as well as premature death. Over 440,000 people in the USA and 100,000 in the UK die because of smoking each year. Lots of people know that smoking causes cancer, emphysema, and heart disease; that it can shorten your life by 10 years or more. Smoking is the largest cause of preventable death in the world because it can get you diseases.

That habit can cost a smoker thousands of dollars a year. So if spending our money on cigarettes we can spend it on other things like buying tickets for the cinema and hang out with your friends for example. If you smoke and keep on smoking and you can’t stop you can just waste the money just to buy a couple of cigarettes.

Recent studies have found that smokers or smoking can undermine the health of non-smokers in some environments. Smoking in front of non smokers can harm the non smokers also. This is called secondary smokers. The smoke from primary smokers is very harmful to everybody.
I feel that smoking is bad because lots of people die because of smoking. Also it’s the largest preventable death. We can prevent it by not smoking at all. Please try and stop smoking so that you can help the environment and help other people to not get any disease and keep them healthier.
Lastly, stop smoking, live longer & have fun!!!
Thank you for listening.
