This purposed regulation will affect everyone who cares about our wildlife. I am a person who loves animals. I like to spend my day watching the animal channel and this proposed regulation is intriguing to me.

2. Describe the proposal/change. (10 points)
The proposal is to designate critical habitat for the jaguar (Panthera onca) under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (Act). This rule proposes to designate critical habitat for the species. This is a proposed rule to designate critical habitat for an endangered mammal, the jaguar (Panthera onca). In total, they were proposing approximately 339,220 hectares (838,232 acres) for designation as critical habitat for the jaguar in Pima, Santa Cruz, and Cochise Counties, Arizona, and Hidalgo County, New Mexico. They was also proposing to designate six critical habitat units for the jaguar in Arizona and New Mexico.

3. Write the public comment which you would submit to this proposal. If the proposed regulation deadline has already passed, write the comment you would have submitted. Explain briefly what you wish to accomplish with your comment. (10 points)
