A Terrible Night Out
A terrible night out

Last year, I was planning to film a movie with my friends about extreme bmx stunts. It was quite cold in the morning, so I was wearing my favorite baggy jeans and gray hoody. I had to get up quite early to get to the park, if I would go on foot. But I had taken a bus. While I was waiting for my stop, a good looking girl, who was sitting next to me, looked on me and started to speak. She said: ’’Hi, what are you doing on Friday?’’ At first I was socked but soon I answered her: ‘’Well, nothing special, I’ll go to the Essential night club.’’ But suddenly, she slapped my face and said:’’ Leave me alone pervert, I’m speaking on a phone!’’ And I saw she was holding a mobile phone in her hand. It went much worse than I could imagine.
I met my friends at the bus station and we decided to by some beers, so we were little drunk. At the beginning we were having a good time. However, while I was making an unsuccessful jump with my bike, my jeans got stuck in chain and I fell off form it with face into asphalt. It was very embarrassing and painful experience to me. My friends were laughing. I had broken my hand and my face was bleeding. Lucky one of them called for an ambulance. After some weeks I was fixed, but now I looked like cripple. Now I still think about that failure quite often. It’s a terrible shame!

The day I got injured was the day I realized how important it was to wear a helmet to protect me from these injuries. I knew there was a state law declaring anyone the age of fourteen and under are supposed to wear a helmet. So I did a little research on that topic and it said that nearly seventy percent of all serious crashes involve injury to the head or brain. It also said that helmets can prevent these injuries by wearing helmets. I realized…

This was the scare of my life . I was cruising dirt roads in my jeep with a couple of friends, and we weren’t making very good choices that day . we were all drinking beer even though we were only 16, and I decided to try and show off for my friends and drift around a corner . Well needless to say that did not turn out very well at all. We made it around the corner and then i saw a truck coming our direction. So i tried to straighten it out before I should have and we slid out of control and hit the ditch while sliding sideways and hit a fence which caused us to start to tip over but somehow i turned the wheels just right and saved it . After we were back on all four tires we slid across the road and just barely missed the truck…

When I first started learning how to ride a motorcycle I was very scared. After a while, I started to get the hang of it, but before I could become good, I crashed it into a barbed wire fence. I can still remember that day perfectly. It was a sunny summer weekend right before school started. My brother and I were taking turns riding it. My dad was mowing the lawn and my mom was at work. When it was my turn to ride it, I was doing okay until the second lap. The end of the second lap is where everything went bad. I was in the grass on the side of a hill. I remember getting closer and closer to the fence. I slowed the motorcycle down and put it in neutral, but I was still getting closer to the fence. I should have used the brakes, but at that…

I had a neck brace around my neck and IV’s stuck all in my arms. I started to panic, I was lost, confused and scared. My best friend was there in the ambulance trying to calm me down. But still, all I could think about was the reaction of my parents when they found out what happened. Once we got to the hospital, the paramedics took me to Emergency Care. The doctors ran many tests on me: MRI’s, CAT Scans, and X-Rays, whatever test you can name – they ran on me. As I waited for my results, the doctors came in and explained to me what happened. An intoxicated driver with a gun ran the red light and hit me in a head on collision. The driver not only totaled my mother’s car but also totaled his own car too. The good thing was that he was okay. I didn’t know what to be happier about; the fact that the other driver was fine or that the accident was not my fault. Selfish right? But I’m sure if you were me at the time, you would think the same thing.…

On January 16th 2011, I was with my two brothers, Kasey and Brandon, and my sister-in-law, Alina at Wintergreen on an exciting snowboarding trip. We got there around 9A.M. and got right on the slopes. I absolutely love snowboarding and would never give it up for anything. About 5P.M. that night, my brothers and I were in the terrain park going off jumps, grinding, doing tricks, all that good stuff. The weather was very cold, and the slopes were pretty icy, but hey, what could be the worst thing that can happen? Maybe it could be a fall right on my butt, or a crazy wipe-out that could have given everyone a good laugh. Unfortunately it was neither of those. My brothers and I were playing follow the leader, they decided to dodge this jump, little did I know it was the biggest jump on the terrain park. I was going full speed and went off the jump, and then it hit me. I fell right on my back, before I knew it I was in the hospital with a broken back. The pain was absolutely excruciating. I ended up breaking my L1, luckily I was still able to walk, but I had to take it easy.…
