A Road Accident
Road accidents take place in big cities almost every day. Sometimes, these accidents prove to be fatal. Two main factors responsible for road accidents are heavy traffic on roads and rash driving. Normally, it is cyclists and motor cyclists who are the victims of such accidents. Sometimes, pedestrians are also killed in these accidents. The traffic on roads has increased so much that it often becomes very difficult to cross a road.Last Sunday, I saw a very tragic accident. I was with my father on the way for school. it was 7:30 AM There was a heavy rush of buses, trucks, cars, taxis, scooters, etc. On the road everyone seemed to be in a hurry to reach his place of work in time. Horns were being blown by one and all. There was a lot of noise. It was a maddening scene. Suddenly, I heard the sound of a big crash. A heavily-loaded truck had tried to overtake a fast running bike and collided with it.All this happened so suddenly that my father and I could not understand what had happened. A number of people gathered at the site of the accident. The driver of the truck Died instantly. The bike man received head injuries , some fractures and was lying unconscious on the road. So my father phoned rescue service and dispatch both of them to the hospital afterwhich the bike man was declared to be in a better state and had fractures in both of the legs. It was quite good to hear that.

Thus one person lost his life and the other sustained serious injuries due to the fault of a reckless truck driver. It was a tragic accident

I’ll never forget the first time I saw a motorcycle collision. I was walking home the night before finals week began. It was late and the walk to my dorm was relatively well-illuminated by the street lamps being swarmed by moths. In the distance I could hear the distinct whine of the motorcycle. As it came barreling down the hill towards the intersection I then heard music blaring from an oncoming car racing from an adjacent street. The collision happened in slow motion… glass and plastic everywhere. My subconscious took over as I sprinted to the lifeless biker’s aid. He wouldn’t move or respond. Another witness called 911 seemingly seconds before the ambulance showed up. This horrific event sparked my interest in a career as a Physician…

Irritated by my mom’s nagging, I mumbled nonsense between my teeth, and slowly buckled up my seatbelt. Then, I took out my earphones to enjoy my favorite music. My mother was trying to drive into the parking lot when all of sudden, a motorcycle suddenly came towards us. The man on the motorcycle was driving at a speed of approximately 40 miles per hour, and he was going so fast that he couldn’t control anything. My mom tried her best to change the direction of the car, but she wasn’t fast enough, causing the two vehicles to crash into each other. As soon as our car slammed into the motorcycle, the man’s body went flying into the air, and the motorcycle was knocked down to the ground. The man with dark brown eyes and a mustache deeply injured…

During the duration of my life I have been in many different motor vehicles, mostly being a passenger. But now as I have come of age, I am allowed to be the driver and with that there comes responsibility, such as obeying the speed limit. Just a little over a year ago a close friend of min died in a horrific car accident. My friend Mathew Zeller died wile driving home from the Jefferson valley mall. It was around 6:00pm and it was very rainy outside, and the roads where wet. As he was coming around a bend his car swerved out of control and into the other lane and was struck by a large truck. The report said he died instantly when the truck hit on the drivers side of the car. One of the saddest parts of this story is he wasn't even breaking the law he wasn't speeding or anything. Now to think that death can just come from going the speed limit, speeding could cause much worse.…

A freeway accident involving a family of four that is stuck in a vehicle, will have devastating consequences if no one on the freeway calls for help. It seems as if the more people the more likely that at least one person will call for help, but actually the more people present in the situation the more likely each individual will feel less responsible to be involved. In this case, the accident is located in a freeway were there are usually many people present; therefore, it would take longer for a person to decide to call for help and the longer span of time taken can lead worse injuries and even the death of those involved in the accident.…

On my birthday of this year, I was on my bicycle in the early morning I am a good cyclist. But every good turns becomes bad when fate goes against a person. At Ranihat, a heavy truck was rushing front, from the opposite side. A bullock cart was there on the road. I thought that the cart-man would halt there till the truck passed by. But the cart-man suddenly left his cart in motion. I was caught between the cart and the truck. I could not decide what to do. I lost all control on my nerve. The front wheel of my bicycle got into a wheel of the cart and I fell down before its wheel. I was fortunate enough not to be darted before the truck. Otherwise I would have been subject to an instant death on the very spot. The cart-man could not control his bullocks and the wheel rolled on my spinal chord. There and then, I got senseless. I do not know how my skull was wounded. Perhaps it was due to a heavy kick charged by one of the bullock.…
