A Right Brained Wife VS A Left Brained Husband
I am right brained and my husband (Denny) is left brained. One of our biggest problems is we do not think at all, along the same lines. One of his pet peeves, every thing has a place and needs to be put back into its proper place. I, on the other hand, tend to move things around and don’t always put things in the same place. I feel at times we are a right brained wife vs a left brained husband. I am going to talk about how differently we plan meals, how we make decisions so differently and how our views of people are so different.
When I am planning a meal, I usually do not start thinking about what I am going to fix until around an hour or so before the meal. Denny will start planning lunch and dinner while he is eating breakfast. We make his breakfast and lunch at home before work the next day. He will get angry with me if I don’t have it all put together and in his lunch container by 8:00 p.m. I tell him as long as I have it done before morning, what does it matter what time I get it finished. He tends to try and look at the big picture and see how things will be affected down the road. I see thing at that moment and make judgments based on my feelings at that time.
It is weird how different our views about people are. I look for the good in people and he looks for the bad. For instance, I bought a cell phone off of...
