A Day of Being a Cato Associate
July 31, 2011, was my first day of working at Cato. As, my training process began I learned the basics, "the definitions." For instance, Secret shoppers is when we are being evaluated by a customer, but you never know if they are a regular customer or the secret shopper, so you have to tell them about our lawaway program, the Cato charge card, compliment there clothing or anything that they have on. For example, if the item of the week is scarves, whiYe checking them out we ask, " Can I suggest you a scarf to go with this?" As they leave we say "Thank You!" or Enjoy you day!"
