A Day on the Beach
An orange glare shines on the crystal clear water. The beautiful white sand that is so soft on your feet. The sweet scent of some good jerk chicken, and grilled lobster filled the air. I was listening to some real foundation reggae music, and watching the beautiful sunset. I consider this to be a perfect day.
First, it was a Sunday morning seven months before I came to America. I decided that I was going to the beach to the beach, just to have fun and chill, for the whole day. It was partly cloudy, but the sun light was bursting through the clouds. It created a pretty orange glare of light that reflected on the crystal clear water. The sunlight just made the beach look alive. It was a beautiful setting for a wonderful landscape picture. That day brought out the happiness and relaxation mode in me.
In addition, the music was extremely relaxing. It was the real vibes of the Caribbean islands. I was having a good time listening to some Bob Marley, Berris Hammond, Peter Touch and many more reggae artists. Some people were playing volley ball, and some were playing soccer. I was chilling for about four hours. It was just those deep sensational vibes of total relaxation.
Besides, I smelled the scent of some jerk chicken, steam fish, and grilled lobster. The scent was coming from all angles. After just relaxing and doing nothing for four hours, the scent of the food was like an appetizer. I decided that I was going to get some jerk chicken. After I ate the jerk chicken, that tasted so good, the same guy was grilling lobster. I looked at the big, red lobster looking so juicy grilling in garlic butter; the scent was as if I tasted it, and I could not refuse. I had some delicious chicken, and lobster for lunch. It came to the final part of my day. I was walking on that soft, white sand going home. It was a perfect day for me.
