Introduction

Operation management is the vital part of any organization. A small shop to any department of the organization operation management is required. For this assignment I have selected a garment manufacturing company in Dhaka. In manufacturing industry operation management is required for every step. Mohammadi Group Ltd is one of the leading garment manufacturers in Bangladesh. It has started its operation in 1986. Today they produce over 500,000pcs of woven garments and 250,000pcs of sweaters a month. In garments arena they are currently manufacturing woven shirts and blouses. They are also considered as one of the top sweater manufacturer in Bangladesh. Their customers include many world renowned brands like- H&M, C&A, Zara, Esprit, Sears, Wal-Mart, and Target Stores. Though Mohammadi group are mainly garments manufacturer, over the years they have diversified into different industries like- Real Estate, Power Generation, Information Technology Services and High Tech entertainment.
