Reasons and Effects of being working students To the Academic Performance of students in Maysan National High School

Statement of Purpose

This study will benefit the working students to continue their schooling because the purpose of this research is to help other people especially the Working Students to achieve their goal in life. The researchers choose this topic because as we observed many students are working to support their needs in schooling and we find out what is the reasons behind of it. The advantages of a topic is to manage the time of the students in studying and working to balance their time between them resulting to pass their subjects and to become successful in their choosing career. This study will present by first week of March .

ABSTRACT:

This study undertakes to explain a relationship between a working student’s work characteristics (work intensity, work hours, kinds of work) and their effects on the student’s academic performance and social life. This looks at the present condition of the educational experiences of working accountancy students as having been affected by their work that could be perceived as either a positive or negative indicator with sixty-eight working students as key participants. It also assessed the advantages/disadvantages of being resorted to such an undertaking. The study has shown that there is a weak correlation between the characteristics of work and its effect on the academic performance and social experiences of working students. Proving also that working while studying is not always as negative as it is because certain benefits could be derived there from for it will even make them better individuals than do non – working students.
