mportance of Education
Importance of Education

Education is very important for our lives. Without education people wouldn’t have their high-developed machine and would believe that the Earth is a planet around that all another planets are moving. Why people want to have their high education? As for me I have my reasons why I want to get high education.

First reason I want to get high education is for career purpose. From the early age parents very often tell to their children that education is very important to find a good job. And this is true because if you want to be a doctor or a lower, or an engineer you must have an education. Among my friends in Russia when I was asking them why they wanted to get their high education very often they were telling me that it is necessary to get a good job and to make a good career. I agree with them because I think that it is easier to begin my career not from nothing, but with the experience and all education that I would gain in the University.

Another reason why I want to get high education is because all members in my family have already received their high education. My father has finished the Institute of Technology, and my mother has finished Medical Institute. All my life I was listening from them that it is very important to get high education. When I was trying to pass my exams for the University in Russia my family was very nervous. It looked like that it wasn’t me who wanted to get to the university, but the whole family were trying with me to pass all exams. I think that family’s support in getting education is very important. At least it was so for me.

Also I want to get my high education because I enjoy studying. All my life I thought that it is very important to be independent and I was trying to be independent since I was a child. I didn’t like to ask my parents to help me with my homework and I was sitting with my homework sometimes till late night but I did myself understand that all must be dependent from yourself and not from someone else. I loved to study and in a high school was an excellent student. All my life I have been though that...

Education is a Key to Success
Education gives me knowledge of the world around me, while opening doors to brilliant career opportunities. Education builds confidence to make decisions, to face life, and to accept successes and failures. The best way to reach career success is to map out a strategy and set goals.
College is a choice, it is the beginning of a life long journey that will shape and determine future choices, decisions and purposes. Education will provide me with skills, knowledge and will lead me to a productive lifestyle. Tidewater Community College is really a stepping-stone towards success. The reason why I am attending TCC is because, it fits my budget, and it was easy for me to get in by doing the placement test. It is also close to my home so I find it very convenient this way I save on gas, and stay with my parents so I do not have to pay for living. My career goal is to transfer to a four year university and finish my degree in Mechanical Engineering.
It is important for me to succeed in college to reach my career goal. College will provide me with all the knowledge that is related to my field, and also help me understand what all mechanical engineers do in the future. Getting an engineering degree will require completing college with excellent grades, so that I can find a high-quality job with great pay. For example, I know people in my family who have never finished college, and they cannot find the work that they wanted to do because they do not have a degree. Yet on the other hand, my cousins who have finished college are getting excellent jobs with higher pay in their field.
I have found out that mechanical engineers take scientific principles and theories and apply them to practical, real-world situations. They are involved in the design and creation of anything of the mechanical nature. A large number of them work on industrial machinery, designing, and constructing machines that are used to make everything from jet... [continues]

What is education? According to the Oxford Pocket Dictionary of Current English it is defined as “the process of receiving or giving systematic instruction, especially at a school or university and the theory and practice of teaching”. In my opinion success requires not only formal education but the positive attitude, drive and vision through informal education.

What is formal education? It is the interaction between students and a teacher that is required for a student to obtain some sort of people pursue formal education in the hope that obtaining a degree or certificate will open the window of opportunity, help them gain social status and financial security. Education obtained in school teaches essential skills for the working world and it changes and mold behaviour of an individual so that the person will become a responsible for member of society. Two years ago, one of my teachers said “To be a productive member in our society, you need to get a formal education”. This statement seems to be true when one considers that we live in a complex and competitive society; many jobs are unavailable to those without an education. For example, in order to be a nurse, a person needs a nursing certificate from a recognized educational institution and pass the national board exam to get a license to work. However, is formal education the only way to success?

Most of us believe that education from school is more important than the education obtained outside an institution. Our society thinks that receiving a diploma or degree is the necessary first step towards success. However, some of the world’s most famous and wealthiest billionaires are college dropouts. For instance, the youngest billionaire in the world, Mark Zuckerberg, dropped out from Harvard University and later co-developed Facebook. Obviously, his success did not happen overnight, but through his personal belief in what he was doing and his passion for computer... [continues]

Topic : Education is the key to my future

The definition of education as defined by helium is an act or process of imparting or acquiring general knowledge, developing the powers of reasoning and judgment, and generally of preparing oneself or others intellectually for mature life.
Education serves as the means to bring about the desired change in society, to develop a generation of virtuous individuals thus contributing to the development of good human beings. The fundamental purpose of education is to gain knowledge, instill the forms of proper conduct and acquire technical competency. Education serves as the means to develop oneself physically, mentally and socially. The importance of education to youth manifests itself in terms of the need to cultivate the youths of society into mature individuals. Without education many of our successful Doctors.physicians, surgeons would not be where they are today because education is the basic foundation in which great things are achieved. Education is the key to mu future….it opens doors for new opportunities in various fields and enable individuals to find avenues to pursue their likes. Now what would happen if education was not present? Simply put there are no options for opportunities and for some no future. In this era of society Education is the only true way to success there may be other means and ways of getting successful but education is the right way.
I believe in education being the true way to success and without education I will not accomplish my goals in life, would just be a life casualty to society which should not be so because all of us have the option to go to school and get an education but some of us choose otherwise and get ourselves caught up in the wrong company at school and that is when the future that god has in store for us starts to fade away.
Lastly without Education my Reasoning aspect would not be fully developed and I would not be able to fully integrate myself with the outside or... [continues]

I am talking to you on the special occasion of Teachers' Day. On this day, we gratefully remember the great educationist Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose dream was that "Teachers should be the best minds in the country". Hence, Teachers' Day is very important for all our people, for our students and even for all the parents, as the teachers lay the foundation for creating enlightened citizens for the nation. On this day, I would like to recall the teachers who helped me in shaping my life. In India, Teacher's Day (also called Teachers' Appreciation Day or National Teacher's Day) is celebrated on 5th of September, every year. The date was selected, because it is the birthday of a timeless teacher and the former President of India - Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. When some of his students and friends approached him and requested him to allow them to celebrate his birthday, he said, "instead of celebrating my birthday separately, it would be my proud privilege, if September 5th is observed as Teacher's day".The request showed Dr.Radhakrishnan's love for the teaching profession. From then onwards, the 5th of September has been observed as Teachers Day, in India. Teachers have an influencing role in the life of every student. They are like beacons of light, guiding us in the formative years of our life. Teachers mould us and in the process and shape our future. What we learn from our teachers remains with us, throughout our life. However, very often, we fail to show our appreciation and gratitude for their altruistic devotion. Teachers do need encouragement and support from the community to feel that their efforts are being recognized. To serve the purpose, Teacher's Day is celebrated throughout the world, year by year. By celebrating National Teacher's Day, we thank our teachers for providing us their invaluable guidance.

INTRODUCTION
"If you educate a boy, you educate one individual,
If you educate a girl, you educate a teacher.
If you educate a teacher, you educate a community"
Dating back to the olden days, teachers as such were only the males from the Brahmin community and the shatriyas teaching the rich, but now the system is changed, we have female teachers also imparting the art of knowledge and skills. Down the lane, coming to the present the overall quality in education depends on the quality of teachers and that a sound program of professional education of teachers is essential for imparting desired type of education. As FRANCIS BACON said," knowledge is power" implies that teaching is an art that can be acquired through a series of well- designed series of activities, its imperative, therefore due emphasis should be laid on the education of the teachers.
DEFINITION
¨According to the Dictionary of education-C.V. GOOD(1973), teacher education is defined as "all formal and informal activities and experiences that help to qualify a person to assume the responsibility as a member of the educational profession or to discharge his responsibility most effectively.
¨According to the Encyclopedia Of Educational Research(1941), Walter.S.Monroe, defines teacher education as " The total education experiences which contribute to the preparation of a person but the term is completely employed to designate the program for the courses and other experiences offered by an educational institute for the announced purposes of preparing persons for teaching and other educational service and for contributing to their growth in competency for such service. Such teacher education programs are offered in teacher colleges, normal schools and colleges and universities.
¨ The Educational Commission (1964-1966) said, "a sound program of professional education of teachers is essential for the qualitative improvement of education. Investment in teacher education can yield very rich dividends... [continues]

Good education demand good teachers. Over the course of the twentieth century, as the teaching professioon has grown, so have its standarsd risen. Many teacher-training courses in Malaysia now last for four to five years and follow after 12 years of schooling: teachers have now had four more years of part-time education than used to norm. Society has steadily expected more of teachers in the variety of tasks they have to perform, in the skills they need to master and in the imagination required for their work. Rising expectations have brought rising quality. So this is the case for updating the Ministry of Education Malaysia to introduce the Teacher Education Division Graduate Teachers systems simultaneously throughout Malaysia. In accordance, the Graduate Teacher Programme under the auspices of Sultan Idris Training Institute was introduced in March this year. Thousands of educators have applied for this course and successfully have passed their first semester. Liability courses funded by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia. This is an excellent start for educators to increase their level. This is one purpose of the Ministry to provide standards for the education of our country. Education in the country's industrial sector is changing dynamically and is calculated to have a lot of change and renewal by the 21st century. The objective of making Malaysia a center of excellence in education (center for academic excellence) in the asian region and internationally in the 21st century requires countries later this increases the image of excellence and quality education to the world standards or obtain a status of "World Class Education". Students who enter the college usually collide with many problems, choices, changes, achievements, obstacles, impressions and people. The entire students have a desire to be successful and reach a lot during the college studying. But unfortunately the majority of the students do not realize how to achieve the success and make the student life more comfortable, easy and impressive. They say that college students worry about falling exams or classes, getting nervous about their sliding GPA, feeling overwhelmed, experiencing severe test anxiety, having trouble studying, studying – but having trouble with tests, thinking about quitting college and changing their majors.
Obviously, those college students are really worried by all these. Their worry showed in 2004 academic international poll in which 86% of college students said that they are having a lot of problems in college than any time in their life. (“National Academic Association said”). But just as most of these students do not give realistic view about their life, they start having no idea of what is going on in college, and how to do to get the achievement in college. The fact is that not all the students are lost and not capable to achieve the successful in college. While they struggle with problems in their college life, some successful students are doing what they have always done: finding ways to get success in their academic. They are currently staying on the battle field to fight for their college life in three ways: by fighting against the academic difficulty, by fighting against the financial problem, and by fighting against the influence of personal pressure.
Commonly, college students have to put a lot of effort on their academic. The fact is that everyone is concerned about tests, quizzes, reports, research paper, and projects that need to be done and handed in on time according to the due date. Students worry that they might fail tests or they might not get up and be ready to go on time, and...[continues]

College does not predict success or happiness. College students encounter many tasks to accomplish there personal happiness with their goals of attending college. This will help some readers on how to balance or get an idea on how to have happiness with success in college life. In a way happiness is connected to success in college because you will learn what to do in a situation which you will have to pick either your education or your happiness. But one thing is for sure, you will be able to communicate with other people which will help you how to be socially active. Also it will show you how to balance your studies with your personal life. But there is always a consequence which is eventually something will always fail whether it is your college or its is your personal life. So one thing is for sure, you can not be in college with a high school attitude because it will interfere with happiness and college success.
If a student is still using the habits from high school the student should consider changing the way that she thinks about school. Mature your attitude toward school because college is not going to change just because the student doesn’t want to change. If the student was shy in high school he should change that and make new friends that will help the student through college. A person doesn’t necessarily need to go to college but still goes anyway because that person want to be happy in the future with the education the person has received. But if the student has the custom to do the homework in the last minute that should be changed because if it doesn’t the it will start to pile up and then the student will have more work from the other classes which will lead the student to drop the class because of grade he will receive. And also in the future the student will have less free time because he is having trouble with his work which will lead him to not going out family or just hanging out with his friends.
Without the balance of studies and ones... [continues]

Keys to Success in College
College is the one place where students are going to need all the help they can get. These few years in college are probably the most difficult and most hectic years for a student. Students have to deal with sports, school, work, or other commitments that can possibly get in the way. After being in school for so long, middle school and high school, we see what works and what does not work for us; studying and managing priorities. We observe our classmates and see how well they prepared for college. Most successful college students have a fixed mindset of abilities that separate them from those who slightly play at being students; they have the ability to motivate themselves, they have the ability to organize themselves, and they have the ability to set goals for themselves.
Motivation is not only for college students, it is for anyone who wants to succeed in whatever they do. There is motivation all around us, but I know, for myself, that I do not take advantage of it when I need to. In Katherine Kelleher Sohn’s “Whistlin’ and Crowin’ Women of Appalachia: Literacy Practices Since College, she states, ““… what influenced them to come to college, and whether they were the first in their family to attend. These questions gave me some ideas about their literate background and their motivation for coming to college” (Sohn 360). Sohn mentions family being a factor for motivation and I can relate to that because all my cousins on my mother’s side of the family are all honor students who attended universities right after high school. I am the only one in this generation of the family that is going to community college first and will transfer to a university after. I have been through the lectures of how successful my cousins are for getting the highest score on their SATs and for attending top universities. Being compared to them should have given me that push that I needed to do better in high school, but I did... [continues]

Education is the most important part of my life. Couple reasons why I attend college it’s to better myself, get a higher paying job and get away from home. First, not going to college was not an option for me; furthermore, both of my parents attended college and graduated college and they have the jobs they always wanted. They always encouraged me to get a higher education and I agree. When I see people that struggle with finances because they didn’t go to college; certainly, it made me want to go and get my bachelor’s degree even faster. Second, I do not want to live my life, paycheck to paycheck, and worrying about whether or not I am going to have enough money to pay to keep a roof over my head. The reason for going to college is that I want to have a better life. Finally, college is vital to how far you can go. If I would settle only for a High school diploma or less, I would not go as far as I want to go; I will keep hopping from one dead-end job to another; for instance, my friend who have worked everywhere and is never happy because of the hard work she has to do and little money she gets. I would want to be more as a college graduate who is at home relaxing in my huge house, watching my sixty-four inch Plasma TV in High Definition. I believe that college will lead me to a life of fulfillment and realized dreams. No one ever regretted going to college, I wish I could say the same for the person who…

We go to school to prepare for the time when we grow up and have to work for ourselves. We learn our own language, so that we will be able to tell others clearly what we want, what we know, and understand what others tell us. Everything we learn has some practical use in our life. Those are the reasons why we do need to come to school, and I believe this level of education is enough for many people. Other people think that increased levels of education will open many opportunities for students. It is often argued that the number of degrees raises the status of the holder.…
