The people that we are willing to approach, isn’t a specific target audience. In our film, we want to give information about the curious disease, that’s called; Schizophrenia. He or she doesn’t know allot about schizophrenia, and is willing to learn more about it. Our persona needs to know, that this disease is more common than they think. And that it isn’t a disease that you are born with. They also need to know, the average age that you can be diagnosed with schizophrenia is between 16 and 35 years. That makes our persona between that age. Our persona lives in the western world, but knows all kinds of races and nationalities. The attitude that our persona has towards this disease has to change. He or she already has an opinion about it, which doesn’t reflect the reality of it and that it’s just a part of the whole disease. Our persona thinks the person with schizophrenia is most likely a crazy person, who hear different voices in his/her head while it’s much more than that. Our persona wants to get rid of this idea he or she has got and learn more about it. The best way to do this, is by giving the real facts and figures involving this disease. Informing them with interviews that show people who have got schizophrenia. But also show family members that are being involved with the process of a loved one with schizophrenia. Our persona is open minded and eager to hear this information. The kind of media that our persona uses is the internet for finding out things, for example by explaining this disease he or she will go on Wikipedia and willing to find more about it. TV is another media our persona likes to use, having it for entertainment but also looking at informative subjects like the news. Other types of media are Radio/newspapers/magazines.
