The World is a Carousel of Color
Everyone thinks Disneyland is the happiest place in the world. I would have to consider Disneyland and Disneyland’s California Adventure one of my favorite places to go, whether it be with friends or with family, which gave me no choice but to get an annual passport allowing me to go whenever I wanted for a year. It’s a great place to just have fun and enjoy yourselves. Walt Disney’s purpose for Disneyland was to have a place where everyone, and anyone, can go and be filled with a joyful and delighted feeling. There’s rides, Disney characters, delicious food even though it may be overpriced, and outstanding shows you can’t see anywhere else. Just recently, they stopped production of the Aladdin show but they easily replaced it with a new water works show called World of Color. In my opinion, I thought the Aladdin show just could not be replaced with its hilarious improvisation, admirable acting, and fine workmanship put into the sets and props. Everything was so well thought out for that show that watching it was my favorite thing to do when I went to Disneyland’s California Adventure. Since they did shut it down, World of Color had barely begun showing. I have not seen it till recently with my friend Pamela on September 25, 2010. It is a nighttime show shown either at nine or ten in the evening. World of Color had blown my mind when it came to its special effects, lighting, precision, production, pyrotechnics, and storyline.
World of Color’s opening day was on June 11th, this past summer, but though I had my annual passport and went many times in the summer, I had yet to see World of Color till just recently. I’ve been Disneyland more than 20 times in the past 3 years, and I have yet to be sick of it. I love the feeling of first walking into the park onto Main Street and be over-thrilled with the happy kids and parents rushing to the next ride they want to ride or seeing their favorite...
