Values represent basic convictions that “a specific mode of conduct or end-state of existence is personally or socially preferable to an opposite or converse mode of conduct or end-state of existence” (Robbin & Judge, 2009). They contain judgmental element in that they carry an individual’s ideas as to what is right, good, or desirable (Robbin & Judge, 2009). In 21st-century, the world is changing rapidly, the environment is changing drastically and at the same changes are occurring at workplace. Same goes to the values at workplace, it changes time to time according to the individuals, which consist of their personal values and also the professional values.  
There are quite number values that are important for me to be successful in the 21st-century workplace. One of the values that I need to have is to be dedicated on my work so that I can show more interest on my job and be competitive enough with other employees which are the most important value for me to be successful in the 21st-century workplace. Besides, I also need to be a fast learner since many organizations are looking for employees who can adapt faster to the changes easily and apply it the learned skills quickly to the job. According to Enzi (2005), an employee need to possess problem-solving, communication and technological skills to be much more advance than its ancestor so that an individual can be successful in the 21st-century workplace. Therefore, it is important for me to be enthusiastic in the workplace so that I can catch up with the updates and provide myself with sufficient skills which will lead me to be a successful person in the 21st-century workplace. Another value that I should have in order for me to be successful is to be flexible with my job and capable enough to face the new situation at the workplace.
