Executive Summary

The report is all about the stock analysis of companies of DSE-20 to analyze and monitor the financial performance over a short term period. Therefore we are taking four companies listed at Dhaka Stock Exchange in Bangladesh and these companies are Meghna Cement Mills Limited, Heidelberg Cement Bangladesh Limited, Confidence Cement Limited & Aramit Cement limited. Throughout the whole report, we have measured the position of the shares and the performance of each company on short term basis. We have analyses the working capital ratios of these companies. Basically in this report our goal is to identify which companies perform better regarding their overall performance and return. Here we are giving the figures from the financial statements that are audited by the audit board and we collect the data from the library of Dhaka Stock Exchange.

Aramit Cement Limited
Enlisted in Dhaka Stock Exchange in 1984. Aramit Cement Limited was incorporated on 19th August 1995 as a public limited company by shares and established with technical collaboration of a Chinese company for producing Ordinary Portland Cement from the very beginning of its commercial production that started on 10th November 1999. The company has been maintaining the quality of the product for which it has own the confidence of the customers and also attained the high status international ISO 9002 Certificate. Enlisted in Dhaka Stock Exchange in 1989. Through acquisition of Chittagong Cement Clinker Grinding Company Ltd., it has brought together regional manufacturing whose history stretches back to the very beginning of commercial cement production in Bangladesh. In Bangladesh, Heidelberg group is one of the largest foreign investors having an investment of 100 million US$ with more than 260 employees working round the clock to materialize the mission of this great global company.
