ESSAY: WHY I WANT TO ATTEND COLLEGE
I want to attend college to earn a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice, but major in Pre-Law. I also want to continue my studies, get a great paying job, and join Delta Sigma Theta. College can be a very fun experience, but you also need to take it very seriously. Education is nothing to be foolish with.
I want to earn a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice because I want to be a Defense Attorney. I’ve watched all of these criminal shows and you see the innocent people who may have done nothing, but have some evidence being acquired by a higher being. I also want to establish my own law firm.
I want to major in Pre-Law so I could kind of get the background of Criminal Justice. I want to know what to expect in Criminal Justice. Pre-Law is what will get me prepared for law school. They can be one in the same but not entirely.
I also want to continue my studies. I want to know more about the anatomy of the human body. I want to learn more than I already do now. I want to explore my possibilities and maybe even more about a specific subject.
I am inspired to get a job that can keep me financially stable. I’m not only going to depend on that, but I want a job that keeps me able to pay the necessary bills. I also want a job that I’m going to love. Something where as I can wake up every morning and say: “I LOVE WHAT I DO FOR A LIVING!!!”
I want to join the sisterhood sorority Delta Sigma Theta. Delta Sigma Theta is a non-profit Greek-lettered sorority of college-educated women who perform public service and place emphasis on the African-American Society. It was founded on January 13, 1913 by twenty-two collegiate women at Howard University. These particular students wanted to use their collective strength to promote academic excellence and to provide assistance to persons in need.
