Thesis Statement: Tipping should be expected when it comes to paying the bill at a restaurant, or bar because the server has to wait and be patient with unpleasant customers, they receive little pay, and they do their best to make customers’ dining experiences peaceful and enjoyable. Body Paragraph 1:

Topic Sentence- Dealing with unhappy customers can be very stressful to a person, but imagine having to constantly try and be patient with the person who keeps complaining about every little thing. Supporting Details:

-Be patient with customers
-Clean up spills
-Do their best to get the job done

Body Paragraph 2:
Topic Sentence- Servers are some of the poorest paid employees in the working class and that alone is one of many reasons why they should be expected to receive tips Supporting Details:
-Paid under minimum wage
-Minimum wage was raised, yet their pay wasn’t
-They don’t even get to keep all of the tip
-Don’t receive benefits

Body Paragraph 3:
Topic Sentence- Surveys have shown, that most of the service professionals take pride in the services provided, because it is up to them to try to make the customer’s dining experience peaceful and enjoyable. Supporting details:

-They are underappreciated
-Try to make the customer’s wants/needs fulfilled
-Put their own problems aside to help the customers
-They put in all this effort for the customer

Conclusion:
Topic Sentence- Tipping has been thought of as a type of gratuity throughout history, and what people don’t actually realize is that it is more important to tip a server than what they think. Restate Thesis- Finally, people shouldn’t think twice about tipping because the server has to be patient with unpleasant customers, they receive little pay for all of their hard work, and they do their best to make customers’ dining experiences peaceful and enjoyable.
