Everyone love’s vacations and with easy access to air travel, the destination possibilities are endless! Most Canadians want a nice sandy beach, and a drink with a little umbrella in it. Luckily, we don’t have to travel too far because we have an Island paradise right here. Prince Edward Islands is an magnificent vacation destination. There are wonderful beaches a number of championship golf courses and some very important Canadian historical sights. So hop on a plane grab the ferry or make your way across the bridge and come have a sweet ass time on the Island!
If you love beaches PEI is the place for you. The Island coastline boasts some of the most beautiful sandy beaches that Canada has to offer. Warm, iron rich, red sand is surrounds the Island. Cavendish beach which is nestled on the north shore is recognized as a national park, and has a picturesque views with every turn of your head. It’s also where you will find Anne of Green Gables the famous story set on Prince Edward Island. If you are looking for a little less hustle and bustle you could venture too one of the lesser-visited beaches. Most Islanders know Trackady Cross as the best place to go swimming. There is a canteen there too. They have great snacks.
If a round on the links is more you thing, then you have come to the right spot! With 33 full 18 hole courses, 4 of which being championship quality, golfers of any level will find a course that meets their needs. Crowbush Country Club, located on the eastern end of the Island, is P.E.I. top rated course. There’s a restaurant. It played host a PGA skins game, and is visited by both armatures and professionals worldwide. August will see thousands of Japanese tourists make the trip across the pond to challenge the demanding course at Crowbush Cove. They also enjoy the peaceful and serene atmosphere of the Island.
