Why Most Americans Should Not Use Credit Cards.
Throughout this paper, I will be telling about the cons of credit card use, with some details of positive use. Seeing someone's wallet stuffed full of credit cards peaks my curiosity as to whether it's the shiny piece of plastic or our drastic spending habits as Americans that causes us to frivolously spend money that we really do not have. There are a sundry of things people do not see or realize until it is too late, maybe this will be a kind of eye opener for those who are still in denial of their debts.
There are many reasons some Americans should not use credit cards. Credit card debt has become a major problem in America today. People are relying more on their credit cards to pay for things rather than using their own money. With a vast majority of society, responsible credit card use is nonexistent. Being responsible with your credit cards is really important. A lot of times people don't realize just how important, they just go out and spend, spend, spend without even thinking. Then again there are a lot of people, usually middle aged, that do know the importance of using credit cards responsibly. Using them for things that are needed, or for important purchases and paying off the bill as soon as it comes in is the responsible thing to do, rather than paying the minimum payments after you've already maxed out your limit. In my opinion, that is just being irresponsible. But there are times when people can't help but to pay the minimum balances due on their payments because of money being tight. That way the balance gets paid off faster, and they're not having to worry about paying out that extra money every month.
