AN INDIVIDUAL REPORT SUMMARIZING THE RESEARCH TOPIC PRESENTED BY THE GROUP

The research carried out by our group was, why international students prefer to study in the UK instead of the USA. This research covers all the aspects viz : the quality of education ,the career prospects , the tuition cost ,the living cost ,the duration of the course ,the environment ,the experience and last but not the least global reputation of the degree .We have also covered the various differences in the culture and ethnicity of both the countries .
These days more and more students are keen to study abroad as they feel they would get more exposure and learn more things than they would learn from their local institutes . These students also feel that they would get quality education and can expand their knowledge span while studying abroad. The research done by us is to find out why these students are inclined towards the UK for education as compared to the united states of America. The objective of our group was to find out the major difference in both the nations which makes the students to go for the UK instead of the USA.
This research has been carried out after studying few articles on the internet and referring some online discussion forums .The article on studyacrossthepond.com tells us that the UK education system offers its masters degree in 12 months and the undergraduate degree in 3 years as compared to the united states which gives its masters degree in 2 years and the undergraduate degree in 4 years .Thus studying in the UK definitely saves an year of the student in both the undergraduate and the masters course .Hence it can also be assessed by saving an year , a student can save a lot on the living expenses and the tuition fee. This article also brings to light that the education system in the UK is very much practical oriented .According to the article the UK degrees are
