WHY DO WE NEED TO SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT
WHY DO WE NEED TO SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT
All of us should be very thankful because we are blessed with such a beautiful environment to live in. Even so, the environment we are granted with may not last for a long period if we do not take necessary actions to save it. We must realize that each one of us is responsible and plays a role in saving the environment. Many people tend to question the reasons for saving the environment. There are several reasons why we need to save the environment; that is to prevent the extinction of living organisme, to prevent global warming, and to preserve Mother Nature. Firstly, saving the environment will help to prevent the extinction of living organism. Living organism refers mainly to the wildlife and also the plants which is the source of oxygen. The existence of flora and fauna is very important in order to maintain a balanced ecosystem. Illegal activities such as deforestation and logging are the main contributor for the extinction of flora and fauna. For example, wildlife needs certain habitats to survive or will become extinct if their habitats are destroyed. Before we even damage the environment, we should question ourselves, wouldn’t it hurt our eyes to see those cute bears, birds or insects become extinct? Plus, it would be a shame if we could not introduce those animals to our grandchildren. Besides that, caring for the flora and fauna shows the value of humanity we possess in ourselves. The government can prevent this extinction from happening by enforcing the law and maximizing the penalty to the offenders. Thus, to prevent the extinction of living organism is a reason why we need to save the environment. Next, we need to save the environment because it can prevent global warming. Global warming is the rise in the average temperature of the earth’s atmosphere and oceans. It is a big issue and can never be taken lightly. Global warming happens due to excessive production of chlorofluorocarbon in

The environment offers essential resources, like nutrients that are recycled to keep soil fertile, biological services, such as providing the global pollination of crops that we depend on for food, and natural improvements for our quality of life, such as controlling the chemistry of the atmosphere. These resources are vital to the survival of the human race, and are often taken for granted. Humans are constantly using these products and amenities to assist in their lives and consequently creating wastes that are put back into their surroundings. All people have the potential to impact the environment, both positively and negatively, directly affecting their resources available to them and the quality of life for themselves and all people on…

There are many problems facing the world today; serious problems that could have grave consequences if not resolved within the next few years. However, there is one looming problem, which if not resolved, could make all other problems obsolete; the way that we take care of the environment, or rather the way we neglect it. The environment is a necessity for everyday life. Without the environment, we would die. How we chose to end global warming is interesting, because much of our daily uses affect the environment.…

First, we have global warming, which is a problem that must be solved as soon as possible. Some ignorant people think that it won’t happen but we are actually living this situation right now, every single day. According to some NASA studies, since 1950, the average temperature has climbed 1.4Fahrenheit degrees around the world. As a consequence of this fact, an Arctic ice area, which was bigger than the United States, has melted this year! Another evidence of global warning is that the frequency and number of hurricanes and earthquakes around the world has increased the last years. The irony of all this is that even though we do realize what is happening; even though we know that we are destroying our planet, we are still polluting, wasting and damaging.…

Global warming (Climate Change) is a subject of global interest because of it's consequences on the environment and man. Global warming is simply the rise in the temperature of the earth as a result of Ozone Layer depletion from the actions of chemicals and gas like Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) which allows the entrance of sun rays and other dangerous elements into the atmosphere therefore increasing the temperature of the earth. These have great dangers to human's and other living organism. Global warming, as important as it is, is not the subject matter of these write-up but the twin benefits of arresting deforestation of our economic trees, reducing the rate of ozone layer depletion, reduce burying of waste which causes underground water pollution and reducing the over-stress of waste in the environment by investing in a nylon and plastic bag recycling plant.…

GLOBAL WARMING- Many people believe global warming is the preeminent danger to human civilization today. It is believed that the rising global temperature threatens to create catastrophic weather systems, crop failures, disease outbreaks, and water shortages worldwide. Global warming advocates say emissions of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane are trapping heat within the Earths’ atmosphere, slowly increasing the overall temperature. These emissions are the byproduct of our modern way of life, and to halt them would require a voluntary shift in the very structure of our society, a move unprecedented in human history. We need to try to reduce the amount of emissions we put in the air, by getting more fuel efficient cars like hybrids.…

Global warming is more danger than any other disasters, and it can destroy our world in the future. Global warming is not just happen in certain parts of the Earth, but it happens to all over the world. For example, the warming of the global vapors the water up in the air, and then there will be more rains. Moreover, the warming makes the ice melts. When the ice melts, the ocean will rise. If the ocean rises higher, then the lands will be flooded with water (Meadows, 2002). In fact, since 1990, yearly emissions of carbon dioxide have gone up by about 6 billion metric tons worldwide, that's more than a 20% increase. Almost all of that increase is due to human activities. In addition, 2000-2009 was the hottest decade on record, with eight of the hottest 10 years having occurred since 2000 (11 Facts About Global Warming). To solve this problem, global warming, we should stop cutting trees, use less of electricity, and drive less. “Trees and other plants collect carbon dioxide (CO2)” (Meadows, 2002). Good air is from trees, so if we cut down trees then we will lose oxygen—the air that plants give back to us. In particularly, trees help reduced flooded. The second way that we must do to stop the warming is that we should use less electricity: turning on lights, watching T.V, computers on, etc. Electricity caused more greenhouse gasses to be sent into the air, and the result is that it turns out to be unhygienic in the air (Meadows, 2002). The third way that we should do to save the global is to drive less in everyday. If it is not necessary to drive, then we should walk or ride a bike because less driving saves energy and caused less pollution to the air. For example, if individuals are going to same location as someone else’s going, then they should ride with the other. Therefore, this way reduces the number of cars on the road. In conclusion, some solutions to avoid global warming are stop cutting trees, use less of electricity, and drive less if not…
