Why College education is important to me
A college education is tremendously essential to me; it is not just a portrait to hang on the wall or placed among my trophies, but it is a necessity. A famous author wrote “Choose a job you love, and you will never feel as if you have worked a day in your life”. That is my words of inspiration I want to be able to apply my knowledge in the job I love, by exercise my skills and level of communication, be resourceful and reliable, handled the task before me using my time management skills, plus have a good cliental and extremely importantly, having the time for myself and my daughter. I want to be a better asset to the working force and/or my prior job. A college education will cause a raise of salary and/or promotion to a higher level or even a new job. Education is there, but it is not everyone that have the motivation to excel in it, or who is capable of earning their education, due to financial issues and illiteracy (just to name a few), according to the autobiography of Malcolm X, 1964. "The ability to read awoke inside me some long dormant craving to be mentally alive."; Being able to comprehend what I read and then apply it to my courses, the more plagued I’ve become in achieving academic excellence because it means a brighter future, and being an example, especially to my daughter and family; showing them that education is the key to success and it has no age limits. The opportunities to grow and excel, socially, intellectually and morally are endless. A life monument in educating oneself is something that cannot be obsolete.
