Who am I? That is a good question. I guess I really never stop to think about it. Most people are defined by their family or their career. For example, if I were to ask "who is Barack H. Obama?" most people would say that he is the president of the United States. If you asked about any-one, they would usually explain who the person is by what they do or who their family is. So if you want to know that, well, I am a senior at Milford High School, I am the daughter of Eric and Pam B....and I am 17 years old. My real name is Sam, but most people would call me “Sam” or “Sammie”. I was born in the United States of America and lived with my grandmother. My grandmother would look at me as a beautiful young lady because I have grown up from a little baby girl that cried to a young women looking to fore-fill her life dreams. Even though I have features of a small child, some imperfections god has also given me. I have always lived up to my grandmother’s expectations of being a perfect person. My grandmother would expect me to exceed in everything ranging from getting good grades in school to becoming a successful person in life. She would often compare me to other girls and pick out the things I needed to work on. Throughout my life, I have become very competitive and hardworking but at the same time, I found my uniqueness. Ever since I was a little girl, I had this competitive nature. I wanted to be a perfectionist and always to win. When I was little and I was playing a card game with my friend, my friend always won the game, and I would be angry and throw a tantrum. As I grew older, I learned to hide that emotion inside, but anger would still rise whenever I lost. Also the fact that my grandmother constantly compared me with other girls made me want to prove myself that I was better. Most of the time, I was compared to my cousin who was gorgeous, smart, and talented in almost anything. My family would challenge us and see who did academically better and who was more...
