In Ellen Goodman’s article Holiday prompts need to be together she talks about family coming together for holidays. All the different ways families come together to celebrate different holidays. These days family can’t always be together but thank goodness for technology for bringing families together. Family’s travels on holidays while other’s have a video conference through the computer to mom and dad or grandma and grandpa. Technology these days keeps everyone in touch on a daily basis especially on holidays and special occasions. If someone can’t be there in person they can be there by computer or by phone and or card. In the article it mentions that inventor Ray Kurzweil attended a conference by hologram which I think is awesome! I have a sister who lives in Alaska and a sister in Texas along with my two nephews and the computer and text messages is how we keep up with them on a daily basis.
In the TV article it’s talking how television is ruining families and morals of kids and families. Kids see violence and other things on TV shows so they think its ok then they go out and start doing that and that causes even more trouble. Some parents even get divorced over television shows today and it’s getting worse and sad. Families barely even talk to each other they eat in front of TV on and find way’s not to talk to each other.
