Undoubtedly 毫无疑问，ambition 理想 野心,belief ,信念 faith信念，are just like beacon灯塔to guide us to change ourselves as well the world . A good case in point is Nelson Mandela who was born in South Africa where social segregation exceedingly /extremely/overwhelmingly prevail and local residents who are mainly black people were deprived (夺走）basic rights including,education,and medical care .confronted with this situation,to He was determined to devote change (reverse)it himself to eliminate (eradicate )racial discrimination (prejudice /segregation) in
South Africa ,although he had paid a heavy price which in enable him to be imprisoned for 27years . During this miserable (wretched ) life experience, he never gave up until he was released in 1990. He became the country's first democratically elected president in 1994,serving until 1999. He was also rewarded with Noble peace prize in 1993. Finally the racial segregation was abolished and native people can equally enjoy the same rights with white people .

In fact ,ambition,belief,faith,are double-edged sword , they can make people successful,but they also make people full down at moment . The strongest case to show that is Lance Armstrong who had been named the winner of the Tour de France a record seven consecutive times between 1999 and 2005 before being disqualified from those races. Because of he used stimulant he lost all the honorand from hero become a loser . Although he was tried his best to ride bicycle ,his effort become froth .he had courage to overcome the testicles,he ,but, did not have courage to face races. Admittedly, Internal and external factors such us aspiration for happiness,wealth ,fame and pursuing fulfillment of belief ,ambition and faith , are beacon which make road become bright ,but which road we go is decided by ourself .It is clear that they were a double-edged sword,it can destroy a person and it also can make a hero . That can make us change which success like Nelson Mandelao or become a loser like Lance Armstrong.
