If a leader is selfish with their power they are rude to the people who work under them. . The people that this person is leading get angry and frustrated because their leader doesn't care much about them, and cares more about him/herself. The leader must want what is best for others, but if he/she is incredibly selfish, his/her judgment is based on what is best for him/her. To be a good leader you have to reach out to people and be able to decide what is best for them by listening to them and understanding their needs.
Another really big thing of being a good leader is being able to not rely on others to make his/her decisions for them but is able to make their own decisions. A strong leader would be someone that has their own opinion and is not influenced by other people's ideas. He/she also has to be quick on there feet they will be out in situations that require quick thinking. He/she has to stand strong for what he/she thinks is right. If a leader is slow thinking and might not be able to stand for themselves and gives in to what other people tell them, then very often the people that are telling them what to do have them do something they don’t think is right. They might tell the person to do one thing that could that could get them in a bad situation with their supervisor.
