1.Popular music is typically music that is in touch with the middle class originating in the mid-1800's. 2.Pop music lyrics based on love and relationship.
3.Disco was developed in the 1970s. Disco began outside of mainstream America. Mixing vocals with a beat that encouraged dancing, disco became the dance music of the decade. The music often had 100 to 130 beats per minute. 4.In the 1960s Briish bands began to copy American bands particularly in the areas of producing recordings and touring to promote the recordings. The biggest group of the British Invasion was the Beatles. The Beatles sometimes sang songs with catchy lyrics and melodies. This would be the centerpiece of pop music through the next several decades. 5.Boybands featured between three and six young males who sang, but did not play instruments.

Some artist do songs to express their ideas and beliefs. 3.Mp3's and ipods have artist selling songs even faster. Autotune lets anyone sound like they have talent. TV lets artist advertise 24/7. 4.Young adults look foward to love and romance and pop adheres to it. Nearly every song it about love and heartbreak. 5.Bruno Mars most of his songs sush as "Grenade" "When I Was Your Man" are about love like most generic pop songs. Girls love his pretty face.
