Leaders impacts a social influence in which one person can rejoin the scullion and sponsorship of others in the accomplishment of a specific duty. Who makes a good leader; someone who is feared or loved? Research concludes leader ship and the trait theory that leads a commander to have authority over society or a social issue. The act of intimidation from fear leaders makes society compile to obedience. Good leaders imply their code of ethics when facing a social concern to bring a solution in hand. Factors of leadership involve the leader, situation, communication. Boss or leader? Bass theory of leadership helps determine the difference. What Is Leadership?
Leaders carry out the process by applying their leadership knowledge and skills. This is called process leadership (Jago, 1982). However, we know that we have traits that can influence our actions. This is called trait leadership (Jago, 1982), in what was once common to believe that leaders were born rather than made (North house, 2007, p.5). When leadership is learned, the skills and knowledge processed by the leader can be influenced by his or hers attributes or traits, such as beliefs, values, ethics and character (Jago, 1982). What erects a leader to bring leadership? Everyday society faces issues from jobs to racism. According to Sociology (2010), social conflict is a framework for building theory that sees society as an arena of inequality that generates conflict and change. Phobia guidance does not make populace comprehend actions instead interaction is caused by social dysfunction. Who can be defined as a bad leader? Adolf Hitler was the commander of the Nazi party. Hitler was granted powers to be head charge of Germany’s military. Hitler believed in racial purification this new code of ethics executed more than 6 million Jews. Germany community was label as participant observation. Participant observation is a research method in which investigators systematically observe people while joining them in their routine activities (Macionis, 2010, p.45). According to Lang studies bad behavior leadership is “Bad leadership behavior, its context and consequences for followers OCB in transformational settings” (Lang, 2009). Transformational settings seem to foster the acceptance of “negative” leadership behavior, therefore reproduce the passivity of society (Lang, 2009). High power motive, combined with low affiliation and low responsibility motives leads a higher tendency of negative (bad) behavior attributes (Lang, 2009). Negative (Bad) behavior attributes will be more visible and perceived in a transformational setting with overall radical changes (Lang, 2009). There are four factors of bad leadership roles. Malevolent includes hostile, dishonest, non cooperative behaviors, Autonomous includes individualistic, unique, or isolating behaviors; Autocratic includes dictatorial, bossy or elitist behaviors, self protective, includes self centered and a social behaviors (Lang, 2009). Destructive leader, leadership behavior, narcissistic leadership, abusive leadership, ideological leadership, corrupt leadership, insular leadership, incompetent leadership, evil leadership, petty tyrants, derailed leaders, harassing leaders, ideological leaders, toxic leaders (Lang, 2009).
