What Happened to Cass McBride
I read the book what Happened to Cass McBride. It was a very good book that keeps you on your toes. What I liked most about it though was that you would never expect what happens in the end of the story. I also like that the main character who stayed strong through the whole book and it teaches people who read this, that just when you think it’s over, it’s really not. This is one of my favorite books that I have read. This story mainly takes place in a green house under ground, where Cass McBride, a smart, funny, popular freshman is buried alive. The main characters in this storey are Cass McBride the freshmen who was buried alive, David Kirby a lonely kid who hangs himself, And Kyle Kirby the older brother of David Kirby. Some other characters are Cass’s Dad, Ben Walderman the high school quarter back and Cass McBride’s boyfriend, Mrs. Kirby David and Kyle’s mom, and the police. I really like Cass because I think that she does a really good job of handling the situations that she was given under the circumstances she was in. I really don’t like Kyle Kirby, even though he and his family had a lot going on in their lives. There was no reason that he should have ever buried Cass alive, it wasn’t fair to her, because she really didn’t do anything. I also really don’t like Mrs. Kirby, I think that she verbally abused David Kirby which in the end is the true reason that he did what he did.
In the beginning of the story it starts out telling you the life of one of the most popular freshmen at the school. Everyone wants to be like her she never really had any enemies. Cass was always good at what she did in life no matter what it was. One day Cass was going to class when she was stopped buy a kid named David Kirby. She really didn’t associate with him, however she knew of his older brother who had graduated a year earlier. David Kirby had gotten the nerve to ask Cass out. She didn’t really know what to do so she just said that she had...
