In this twenty-first century, human make the world. As everyone can see, this is a modern, advance century. Throughout history, people have made inventions that changed the world. Some got lucky and stumble on something, some actually set out to make something, and still others improved upon existing technology to create something revolutionary, same as now. Scientist and experts have discovery and created awesome inventions which shaped the newest century such as artificial heart and liver, retinal implant for blind, YouTube, Apple’s products, e-books, GPS and also Amphicars.

Man rely on internal organ to take out regulations and work to keep alive but nowadays diseases such as cardiovascular, liver cancer, heart attack and heart failure have overwhelmed throughout the world but transplantation is not always usable and there is difficulty and risk to find a suitable ‘replacement’. The pumping organ is the most precious gift. At first there is no replacement but the first ever artificial heart was approved in 2004. It is made up of plastic and titanium. Artificial hearts are typically used in order to bridge the time to heart transplantation, or to permanently replace the heart in case transplantation is impossible. This amazing invention has created numerous miracles and it brings hope to the patients. There have been few cases when people were declared too ill by the doctor for heart transplant but artificial heart did wonders for them. The obvious benefit is to minimize the need for heart transplant, because the demand for organs always greatly exceeds supply. Nevertheless one of the most vital organ which regulates, removes toxin, manufactures protein and also helps to maintain the ph value of our internal body, the liver has its replacement too, the artificial liver. In some cases, it is used to give the damaged liver sufficient time to team. A synthetic replacement for the heart or even liver remains one of the long-sought holy grails of modern medicine.

Another one notable invention is a retinal implant for the blind. A retinal implant is a biomedical implant technology currently being developed by a number of private companies and research institutions worldwide. The implant is meant to partially restore useful vision to people who have lost theirs due to degenerative eye conditions such as retinitis pigmentosa or macular degeneration. Patients with these diseases become blind because of loss rods and cones, which are the only photoreceptive elements in the eye. The Retinal Implant Research Group has developed a microelectronic retinal implant to restore vision to patients with age-related macular degeneration and blindness. It is known as ‘electric eye’, which implant a microchip into the patient’s eyeball. Besides that, experts has fitted three patients with this new device and successfully, they were able to see shapes and objects, and one was able to walk around a room by himself, approach people, read a clock face and differentiate between seven shades of gray. In the past, retinal implants required a small external camera to capture light; now, the new advance in technology captures natural light from eyes to help the patient see. To go from being completely blind for many years, to being able to read a few letters and see shapes is an amazing step and it has brighten future for blind. We have to be grateful and appreciate their efforts, because of those experts and scientist, this 21th century is full of hopes.

From the side of mass media, a site that enables free watch of videos or clips through internet has gained their popularity throughout the world in a mean time. There should be an answer wandering in your mind, which is ‘YouTube’, this amazing website. YouTube was created by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley and Jawed Karim. YouTube is a premier worldwide destination to watch and share original videos on www.youtube.com. Registered users can upload and share their video clips or even share their opinions...
