Week 8 Concept Check

Employees from the billing department are not receiving the accurate codes and information needed for data entry, slowing production and payment for the doctor. As head of the billing department, you have been delegated to lead a problem-solving team to resolve this issue. How will you choose the members of your team? How will you promote effective teamwork to solve this problem?
The first thing I would so examine the problem to see what area we need to focus on first. After we figure out the issue I will put together a team of different people for different tasks. My team will be picked by the specific help they can bring to the issue. I will choose a debate team with a strong mind frame and an also they will the ability to bring about issues to each other in a business manner. If they have an issue with another person request to fix the problem, they can address them in a way that is not disrespectful or biased. They will all be considered equal. The way I will promote effective teamwork is by group communication. I will have group meetings forth so when a person wants to relay a issue to another person they will do it in front of the group so everyone can help out the problem. If the person wishes to do the confrontation in private, I will have mediation so they can fix the problem together. My main issue is to enforce teamwork. With this method we will conquer the problem as a team. No one will feel inferior or below the next
