We Should Be Less Tolerance

First we need to clear up, just what we mean by tolerance. One dictionary definition of toleration is ‘the recognition of the rights of the individual to his own opinions and customs, as in religious worshop. When we respect the rights of   others to have and express opinions differing from our own, we are being tolerant. Tolerance is really a very highly useful quality. It is one of the basic principes of good manner. But you can also go too far in it. The Netherlands were too tolerant in the past, so anyone can come to our country. Now we need a stricter immigration policy.

Intolerance leads to the worst kinds of disaster. In the history we can find many horrible acts of intolerance. For example, Theo van Gogh who was been killed by somebody. There are too many foreigners allowed in the Netherlands. Nederland was too tolerant in the past so we now need a stricter immigration policy. Many foreigners do not learn our language, so they do not immigrate in our country. They do not learn our habits and remain in their own culture.

I think everyone has to adapt to another. Foreigners who come here must adapt to us and then we will also rejoin. Muslims get free with
the Eid as we continue to worlk, with for example Christmas. I think this is not right because everyone has the same rights.

Like I said before I think everyone has to adapt to another. Because the Netherlands were too tolerant in the past we now need a stricter immigration policy. The government has to take care of it. Everybody has to immigrate and learn our culture and our habits and very important is the language. I hope they will listen to what I said. [continues]
