Anna Ruby Falls | Anna Ruby Falls lies in the heart of the Chattahoochee National Forest. Although often crowded this is one park you don't want to miss. The thundering rush of water flowing over the rugged cliff face is where Anna Ruby Falls marks the junction of Curtis and York Creeks. Both Creeks begin on Tray Mountain . Curtis creek drops 153 feet and York Creek 50 feet to form the twin falls. From the falls, Smith Creek progresses downhill to Unicoi Lake and then to the Chattahoochee River. It flows south, eventually joining the Appalachicola River in Florida and ending its 550-mile journey in the Gulf of Mexico.| | | | Dukes Creek Falls on Davis Creek| A great hike for the family this waterfall has a series of observation decks and spectacular awe factor. Davis Creek and Dodd Creek form Dukes Creek. The falls drops approximately 200 feet. The remaking of this trail has made this a pleasant afternoon for the whole family.| | | | Horse Trough Falls| This beautiful falls is on the headwaters of the Chattahoochee River and can be reached on a short 800' walk along a easy path. Horsetrough Trail leads to beautiful Horse Trough Falls, high in the Chattahoochee watershed. Beginning at the trail head sign to the falls follow the trail 200 yards to the observation platform which will provide an unobstructed view of the falls. In the winter, part of the camping area may be closed and it is possible that you will have to park at the entrance to the camping area and walk to the trail head, a distance of approximately 1/2 a mile. | | | | Raven Cliff Falls on Dodd Creek| The trail to the falls is 2.5 miles one-way along Dodd Creek to the cliffs where the upper falls is located . The trail is an intermediate hike through beautiful rhododendron and hemlock forests following the creek by many small waterfalls.
