Freedom and equality were not alike as freedom was great news, but equality was just the beginning of a terrible problem that all Black people had to face. In this essay, I am going to explain why freedom was nothing like equality, and the changes the Black people had to face during this unfair time.

After the Black people were released as prisoners, equality became a problem in the US. This was a problem for the Whites because they thought it wasn’t right to let the Blacks have their rights, and so some of the Whites (particularly the woman) started to protest against the Blacks being normal citizens and having their rights.

Due to that, thousands of other people joined in and realised they could over power the Black people’s rights. Black children were not allowed to be in the same school as White children because the White children’s mothers refused to send their children to the same school as Black children.
