In the chart below describe the problems the author of “A Modest Proposal” associates with each group listed. Next, explain the author’s solution to the problem and in the final column, describe the supposed “benefits” which will result from the implementation of this “modest proposal.”

I believe that he has the right idea of wanting to get the poor off the streets. He definitely went about it in the completley wrong way! Which is why people showed such hatred and confusion by his proposal. He really just wants to decrease the rate of reproduction in Ireland and help business grow.
