Background of Wal-Mart

Wal-Mart Company is a company with about more than 6500 retail units under 48 different banners in about 15 countries Wal-Mart has also won a award in 2002 for there own intranet, and by joining a very small group of companies who have won the award multiple times like Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu which has also won for both its all-inclusive and Australian member of intranets, and Cisco Systems' intranet . Breaking with past trend, this is the first time in the 10 years without any winners from Europe or from the monetary sector. The lack of banking companies, insurance companies and brokers may explained by the financial disaster. These companies had other things in there mind to occupy their attention and smaller budgets for intranet design. In contrast, there is no excuse for the poor showing .

Purpose or Objective of the research
The main intention of the research is to see that business-to-business (B2B) marketers today are combining the Internet and electronic way of communications into the middle of their business marketing strategies. How will we employee intranet in the company to increase the efficiency of the employees.

Electronic commerce
E- commerce involve business communication and transmission of business over networks and by computers , mainly buying and selling of goods and services along with transfer of funds through digital communication .A study suggest that firms which are already good at managing customer relationship were best equipped to capitalize the opportunity of the internet. The ecommerce can be used to almost all parts of business with positive effect of creating new demand or making the business or company more effective. E- Commerce can be applied to various part of company like in purchasing products, marketing, advertising and for product information.
