Vote for me :)
When I first came to this school, my goal was to be part of the student council when I reached senior year. I’ve always been a great supporter of the student body and I’ve voted every single year for the past 5 years. I was continuously ready to volunteer whenever the student body needed help to setup and organize their activities and events. By doing so and spending lots of time volunteering, I acquired experience and knowledge in that field. Everytime I attended an event, I made sure to mentally note of what worked very well and what could be improved. As you see, I’m a trustworthy and exceptionally devoted student.

I’m also proactive. I take action. Even though I enjoy being a leader and taking the lead, I always make sure to listen to each and every student as much as possible. It doesn’t matter whether you’re in 7th grade or perhaps in my class: to me, your opinions count and they all influence me equally. I’m here to represent everyone, not simply the 12th grade students. I’m enthusiastic and very talkative so don’t be shy and feel free to come talk to me whenever you have any comments, suggestions or just feel like having a chat. I’m open to everyone’s ideas. My main goal is to be the mirror of all you guys’ ideas, not only mine.

That being said, I do have a few ideas in the back of my mind that I believe might interest all of you. Would you like it if the cafeteria re-opened? If we would have a new year’s celebration? Maybe a “teachers versus students” indoor-hockey tournament would be fun? Or how about monthly contest, some academic and others recreational where winner receive awesome prizes? I even thought about this little detail: I see you, the group of guys setting table-tennis tables in the student lounge after school on Tuesdays! What if there was a table-tennis team? And girls- it’s unfair, the only volleyball team we have are for the boys. Would you like it if there was an girls’ volleyball team? I’m telling all of you: I’m convinced

Being a member of Best Buddies and SAVE, I demonstrate a strong sense of dedication for supporting others and lending a helping hand. The goals of both Best Buddies and SAVE are to further acceptance, embrace diversity, promote safety in schools, and spreading positive energy. As a student representative, my sole objective would be to help enlighten the school board and those in the community about the daily life at MHS, advocate for the 1,600 students currently attending, and respectively relay any helpful amendments that would benefit the Mukwonago Area School District. The multiple clubs I participate in and the copious amounts of friendships I developed with people that have contrasting passions also allow me to speak on behalf of a relatively large group of students. The students taking part in the same activities that I belong to range from freshman to seniors. The opinions of a freshman compared to that of a senior’s may vary drastically, and being a part of clubs with a sample of each year will give me an advantage to hear an assortment of…

Under the presidency of S.A.D.D (Students Against Destructive Decisions) in my high school, I've conducted and lead many projects to help many organizations and even planned and coordinated many community service projects. But, out of the many project that the club and I have planned and created, I would have to state that I've projected my leadership role the most while our club and I went to Feeding South Florida for a field trip that I've planned. The reason why I state this is because, Feeding South Florida was a common place that many people knew, especially our members, and so before we got to the warehouse, I've explained the purpose Feeding South Florida stands for and the job that we would have to do there. When we got to the warehouse and began working, I would help the members and other volunteers carry boxes that were a bit heavy for them to carry and to help them understand how to sort the items that were donated to the warehouse into categorized boxes that they had provided to us. The purpose on why I led this project is because of the purpose behind Feeding South Florida, which is to collect, pack and send foods to the many shelters and food kitchens that they have provided in South Florida and working on this project created a positive effect on my life. The reason why I state this is because, while volunteering, it made me feel as if I was privileged.…

As of now, I am a senior at Cass Technical High School. In addition, I am also the Command Sergeant Major for Cass Tech’s JROTC program. As the Command Sergeant Major, my duties include being the standard bearer for our battalion’s cadets, and leading our drill and color guard team. Besides that, I am also an active volunteer within my community and school. The last event that I participated in was earlier in the school year as the lead cadet of a concession stand at a college sports game in order to raise money for my JROTC program. Also, I have been a service learning project coordinator for a project that had the purpose of aiding the homeless citizens of Detroit. Nevertheless, the project’s goal was to provide food and hygiene products to…

Over my four year athletic career I did my best to represent my school, town, friends and family with the highlest level of sportsmanship and pride. I played a big role in winning the district title in both golf and basketball my freshman year. I individually placed second at districts three years in a row, I broke the school basketball record for most three pointers in a season, game and a career and I hold the record for most homeruns in a softball season. Outside of the athletics I have contributed to the school academically and politically as well. Being the senior class president I have many responsibilities when it comes to raising money and providing the best high school experience for my fellow classmates. Last October, my fellow class officers and I had to make a decision on where our senior trip would take place. In past years this has been a one day trip to Cedar Point Amusement Park, but I was determined to do more for my classmates so I had suggested that we present an overnight trip to the school board. There has not been a overnight trip for a senior class at BHS since 1985.. My officers were very hesitant but I knew that we could make it happen. In January two officers and I went to make history at the school board meeting. We presented our case to the board and after 3 short weeks we gained their approval. We were all so excited, we knew that we had changed the path for not only our class but for many classes to…

The moment that signified my transfer into adulthood happened just recently. Since 8th grade, I have been a part of truly incredible academic-service organization called Beta Club. Beta Club has taught me the values of being a leader by serving others, and it is from this “servant's” mentality that has made me a better person. Moreover, it has given me countless leadership options as I served as my middle school Beta’s president. Then, I was elected as my high school’s chapter president, and this is where my moment of transition truly begins. Each year, the state Beta Club hosts a convention in Greensboro, where you can compete in events or run for state office. The state convention was like no other event I had participated in, and ever since I attended my first…
