The idea of this presentation is to analysis the merger of World’s leading Mobile communication company Vodafone with India’s fourth largest telecom company Hutch or Hutchison Essar. Vodafone:
As we all know about Vodafone Company leader in mobile communication all over the world. Vodafone was establisher in U.K in 1983. In the span of 25 years the company has established its name over the world. Vodafone is satisfying 252 million customer over the world. And Vodafone is operating in more than 25 countries plus partner market agreement in 38 states.

The aim of the company is to become the no.1 mobile communication in the world. For this the company has six strategic goals: 1. To provide superior shareholder returns
2. To delights it customer
3. To leverage global scale and scope, especially in delivering 3G services 4. To expand market boundaries
5. To build the best global Vodafone team
6. To be a responsible business and manage its impact on society, the environment and economy

Key factor of Vodafone:
Vodafone new strategy of acquisition, collaboration, and merger helped to become largest mobile telecommunication company in the world in 2000.

Hutch or Hutchison Essar:
It is India’s 4th largest telecom company having 39.86 million customers over India. It is know for its best mobile service and customer satisfaction in the country.

Vodafone new that Indian Telecommunication industry was booming. There was a wide scope for Vodafone growth. As India has the second largest mobile phone market in the world. By acquiring Hutch Company Vodafone got good share over the India Telecommunication industry.

Benefits that Vodafone got over this merger:
