According to the article “What Does it Mean to be Truly Educated” from WordPress.com, an average student can become a well-educated person if equipped with the necessary righteousness; “virtuous character is more desirable in a child than head knowledge.” Also, according to the article “What Does it Mean to be Truly Educated,” “Most schools seem concerned only with filling a child’s head with facts, pushing them on through one grade to the next regardless of knowledge retention, and teaching them how to stand in line and ask permission to go to the bathroom.” Many schools are forgetting the fact that education is not pushing kids to get A’s, but giving kids the knowledge that they…

Today, we have taken that they did and turned it into something much more valuable that goes beyond instinct and more into personality and choice. We choose what we want to learn and become experts in, that is what makes you…

Also, education is not limited to what is taught in the classrooms of the world every day. Education can hide behind the mask of talking with your grandfather about the tour he completed during World War II, cleaning out the attic, or even just trying out a new recipe. Throughout my life, I’ve learned from everyone around me, from my little sister to my college professor grandfather. Even people who have hurt me and who I cannot stand to be around have taught me things; patience, forgiveness, and how not to act. We learn more and more about the world around us every minute. No human can ever know everything about how the world works; there’s too much to know. Nonetheless, that’s not a reason to stop or limit your learning.…
