"Strategy is the direction and scope of an organization over the long-term objective which achieves the vision of the organization through its resources within a challenging environment to meet the needs of markets and to fulfil stakeholders’ expectations".

In other words, strategy is about:

Where is the business to get the long term objective?
Which market and what kind of activities are involved in such market? How can the business perform better than the competitors in those markets? What external and internal factors affect the business’ ability to compete? What are values and expectations of those who have power in and around the business?

Through group case study to evaluate Vitasoy International Holdings Ltd., the group found her remarkable success in her strategy – Intensive Strategies. The project has enriched the group’s understanding of a firm’s strategy, organization, and functional decisions (for example, its financial, marketing, operational decision, etc.) which is very important. A strategy directs a firm to develop continuously, to merge with another firm, or even end in liquidation. Careful strategy formulation and implementation, supported with stringent evaluation is mandatory for a firm’s future survival in the challenging world.

II. INTRODUCTION AND AIMS OF STUDY

Aims of Project

1. To study how a corporate formulates and implement strategies in its business with regard to financing, marketing, production, logistics and supply chain, etc. 2. To analyse and critique strategic management applications of the company’s principles. 3. To recommend the company viable course of strategic actions for further development.

Mostly, the company will consider the following aspects and decide which strategy will perfectly be completed to suit their needs :

What is their Vision and Mission.
How to set up the Long Term Objectives.
Audit of external and internal factors.
Implementation of strategic management in all internal departments. Performance measurement and evaluation.

A corporate will be studied in view of its strategies in the changing business environment. In fact, many external and internal factors affect their decision in formulating the strategy. The management will consider...
