This is one of the largest and most influential inventions on people’s lives today. Ralph Baer has found this invention in 1966. In 21st century, technology becomes more advanced and people rely more on technology. As well as video game, over the past 30 years video game is evolving, changed significantly, available to consumers and have become an important part of global entertainment. Video games are meaningful, not just as economic but sociological also. Nowadays, video game still play an important role in our live, even becomes an important thing in today’s culture. Since 1990’s video games has been a controversy in public’s eye. They believe that video games poison children and teenagers with sex and violent gameplay. Video games in today’s societies make a lot of people think that video games bring negative effects of the players or children. However, many scientist and psychologist and children expertise found that video games might bring positive effects and can promote high-level thinking on players and children who play video games. By playing video games, children can learn a lot of things from video games itself. Today, video games can be accessed online so that players can interact with a lot of people and be able to learn different things from other players.

Video game makes child’s brain real workout because some mental skills just trained and taught by video. From playing video games, children may learn hand-eye coordination skill, developing reading and math skill, mapping skill, and multitasking skill. The children can’t get those skills at school. In shooting games, children are forced to focus at running, aiming and shooting enemy at the same time. This requires children’s hand-eye coordination skill to keep track of the position of the character, where he is heading, and their speed, where the gun is aiming and shooting the enemy.
