The Idea of Starting a Business
Whats going on guys thanks for coming out, and thank whoever brought you here because they obviously like trust respect you enough to share this opportunity with you, this is like facebook with 3000 users, apple before the ipod and bill gates before microsoft. So i ask you guys to have an open mind for the next ten minutes because even guys like mark zuckerberg had people tell them no and that they were dumb crazy and stupid. After that youll have enough information to make an educated decision on whether you want to be a part of this thing or not. either youre in or youre out because we all know maybe is a nice way of saying no thank you.
I got introduced to this thing 8 months ago in july, one of my buddies luke kish came home from school and invited me over to hear about the business he started when he was in san diego and didnt really tell me much, he was one of my boys from high school so i was going to hang out with him anyway. he explained to me that there were two different types of people. wealthy people and people who arent wealthy. theres a strict definition, wealth is defined by time and financial freedom, and i dont know many people who actually have that so i figured if i had continued doing what i had always done i would get what ive always gotten and i wanted different results than my friends were getting out of school, having to move in back home and get a job serving tables until they find a good high paying job, where your income is limited by the amount of hours you work and we all know that time is limited and if your payed by the hour then so is your money. so i decided to start my own business which everyone always wants to do, everyone has ideas they never get to pursue. jay z said on oprah you can be rich working for someone else but you will never be wealthy until you own your own business. so i wanted to do that because that dude makes alot of money. i kind of figured that if i did what he did i could probably make money like he does,

To put it mildly, things did not go according to my expectations. In my own case, I grew up with serious privilege, so a large part of my financial insecurity is of my own making; at the same time, my recovery has exposed me to a diversity of class and ethnic experiences, which have contributed to my awareness of how difficult self-sufficiency, let alone class mobility is for most people in my human network today. Consequently, I am much more cynical about the “rags to riches” story of America than the majority of others in my upper-middle class bracket. According to…

There are still people in this world that believe that the American Dream is still intact. In a 2009 New York Times survey that author Brandon King states is that 72 % of Americans still believed it was possible to start poor, work hard, and become rich in America (King 573). And even in today’s world, there are plenty of people that started with nothing but resulted with true greatness, like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerburg, and other thriving Americans. As children, many people often dream about what they want to be when they grow up. Most commonly an astronaut or maybe an athlete. For some reason, I never really had any major dream job aspirations as a kid; Although I was a decent athlete playing three sports: football, basketball, and soccer I enjoyed being active in those environments. I realized at an early age the likely hood of going pro in any of them was a very small chance, but I still had a desire to be wealthy so that I could afford to buy the things I wanted I just needed to find a way to do this to become successful giving the inspiration to my search for financial literacy. My father an entrepreneur and CEO of his own company taught me how to work and earn money for myself at…

There are three types of partnerships - a general partnership, limited partnership, and limited liability partnership. General partnerships consist of two or more partners who are both responsible for the business. They share the assets and profits, as well as the liabilities and management responsibilities for running the business. A business owner may opt for either a limited partnership or a limited liability partnership. In a limited partnership, there are one or more general partners and one or more limited partners. The general partners participate in management and have 100 percent of the liability for partnership obligations. Limited partners cannot participate in the management and have no liability for partnership obligations beyond their capital contributions, protecting them against personal liability for the partnership's debts and other obligations. They do, however, receive a share of the profits for their involvement as limited partners. For the business owners who do not want to assume any liability whatsoever, there are limited liability partnerships (LLPs). An LLP allows limited liability for all of the partners. Like general and limited partnerships, LLPs pass the profits and losses through to the partners, and LLPs have the flexibility of choosing either a centralized management structure or a completely decentralized structure like a general partnership. Unlike a general partnership, partners in an LLP have limited liability and, unlike limited partners in a limited partnership, they do not lose their limited liability if they actively participate in management. Another advantage of general partnerships is the flexibility they offer. In partnership agreements, the partners are free to set their responsibilities and benefits as they see fit or as the needs of the business dictate. The structure of the organization and the distribution of profits and losses are much more flexible in a general…
