Project Overview 
This  project  requires  stringent  security  with  the  given  terrain  constraints  of  a  very  vast  cleared  land  with  a  step  gradient,  surrounded  with  dense  jungle  and  vegetation.  Vdosoft  was  specially  engaged to consult, design and provide a secured environment for the memorial park of the Late  Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong. 

Solutions 
The  technologies  used  are  Active  Infra  Red  Beam  Detectors  and  specialized  CCTV  cameras  integrated with infra red floodlights. This ensures optimized viewing possibilities during day and  night times  The perimeter technology chosen for this particular scenario is Active Infra Red Beam Detectors.  Although passive Infra Red  Motion detectors  would have  been  a  common choice,  these  devices  DO  NOT  perform  well  under  outdoor  conditions  based  on  tropical  climates,  where  rapid  temperature  change  is  inevitable.  We  have  chosen  beam  detectors  with  high  immunity  to  environmental  change  and  with  a  beam  detection  range  of  25m  ~  75m.  Each  Pole  is  further  equipped with a Power Control Unit that rectifies and regulates the incoming low voltage 48VAC  to DC voltage that is utilized by the various electronic devices on the pole. The Power Control unit  is  also  equipped  with  a  standby  battery  power  and  has  the  ability  to  signal  the  Control  room  during any power failure. Each pole is also equipped with a wireless 868 MHZ telemetry system  that monitors for any breach in the perimeter beams. Integration of strobe light at the poles gives  instant visual confirmation of the area under duress.The proposed CCTV system has two primary  functions. The first is to act as a backup perimeter detection system using Video Motion Detection  (VMD) technology. The second is to fulfill its objective as a surveillance camera. To achieve both  these  requirements,  we  have  chosen  a  high  resolution  B/W  camera  with  Wide  Dynamic  Range ...
