Use of Cell Phone While Driving
Cell phone can be dangerous because you lose concentration on driving but they can also save somebody's life. A cell phone can save somebody's life because somebody could report a reckless driver or call for an ambulance. Also if you are contacted by family and they have an urgent message for you, then you can respond. Lastly parents have to talk on phones while driving so they don't have to do it while there with their kids.

On the other hand cell phones are very dangerous because you can lose concentration when picking your phone up off the floor or out of your purse or pocket. Also you need to look for on coming traffic while entering a freeway, but you will not be able to do that if you are in a deep conversation on your cell phone. However, children at school may need to contact their parent because they got a referral from the principle or the teacher. Also a child might need to go home because they feel sick or maybe carpool forgot you. To have a cell phone could be very important in an emergency.

In conclusion cell phones should not be banned while driving. If they would ban cell phones people would have to stop their cars more often to make a call. Stopping will cause more pollution and congestion on the streets and may cause more accidents then before, when cell phones were not banned while driving. Tell your parents to drive

Cell phones come in handy during an emergency. First, if someone is driving and lands into an accident, most cars don’t have the “GM on star” button so they are most likely to use their cell phone to get help. Anyone can dial 911, and get the help they need in just a matter of seconds. Whereas if someone didn’t own a cell phone it would be very difficult to get help as fast. There are times where someone can be in a very critical situation where if they do not get the help they need as soon as possible they could potentially die. For example, if someone’s head got cracked open during the car accident they would immediately need help from the paramedics. Also, if there is an urgent situation, where you believe there is someone following you for example, and your life is in danger then cell phones are there as a tool. One can easily contact the police or a family member to seek help, and save their life. In contrast, if someone did not have a phone then the “stalker” has a better chance of getting a hold of you. It will make it hard for someone to escape a situation like this. Thirdly, cell phones also come in handy when you forget to inform your parents or friends about any new event coming up. For example, unexpectedly you have to stay after school to finish a test, and your mom and dad are not aware of it. Then you can use your cell phone to let them know. Overall, cell phones can be realistic in times of an emergency.…

When you use a cell phone, your concentration is greatly shifted from road to the cell phone. While dialing or receiving a call, you are required to look into your cell phone rather than on the road. A lot can happen within a split second. You may not notice a car making a lane change in front you and hit it from behind. You may not even notice a vehicle speeding towards you from the opposite end and may end up colliding heads on with it.
